His version of "Man of Constant Sorrow" is great and very different from what was in the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" The other nine songs on the CD are equally good, but overall "3 Pears" (his previous CD) is more enjoyable.
Mat is a great artist, but earlier albums are better. If you haven't tried Mat before buy "Young Love" or "City of Black & White" before purchasing "Just Kids."
Kid scores another great album with this one. Nice rock and roll songs that are easy to listen too. Not a big fan of rap, so this is a pleasant surprise. Even better than another good album by Kid "Rock N Roll Jesus" from 2007.
