I was looking for a simple tablet for my elderly mother to use for simple games and memory apps to try to keep her entertained while hoping to stimulate her memory when no one is with her. The tablet is pretty solid for the simple apps we are running. Definitely not the fastest out there but for this price range (got it on sale too) I'm not complaining about it, especially knowing that it's a name brand that I have used before so I have confidence is it's longevity. It does appear to be slow to charge though compared to my Nexus 10. I did notice that the charger is only 1A

Received this as a gift as my previous smart watch, a Samsung Neo, is not compatible with my HTC one. It's much more intuitive that the Neo. The cardiograph function is better in that it will continuously give you readings as opposed to the Neo which will give you a single reading and then you have to press the start button again.

I compared this one to several others, including other Samsung models and this seems to be good value for the money. I wanted a 10" screen so it would be easier for my wife to read. The Pro version has better specs for the camera, screen and processor than the Tab4 which is slightly cheaper. I also thought the speakers sounded better and had better placement than the equivalent iPad. Hopefully Lollipop will be released for it soon.
