This worked surprisingly well. I wanted wired Internet upstairs for my 4K TV and 4K Blu-Ray, and Sony Soundbar system. It was sure a lot easier than running cable from downstairs. Speed must be OK as have no buffer issues.

Worked with no problems. Easy to setup and operate. However, it is advertised as having to HDMI Outs, it only has one and one optical out. So returned it and exchanged it for the UP970 which has two HDMI outs.

went in to best buy to buy the Bose sound bar 300 then i talked to a sony rep and showed me all the features on controlling each speaker separate which was very interesting to me on the sony 3.1 system up in the air not sure which one ?
System is working seamlessly and sounds pretty good. Not as good as my wired 7.1 system, but wanted to get rid of the wires. Also, wanted a little Atmos without having to use ceiling speakers, plus my ceiling is vaulted. LG has now come out with a similar setup as Sony, but that was after I bought the Sony so haven't compared the two.
