It only comes with a Roku style remote. When the set is powered on you must then select an input or roku app.
If you're using for over the air or cable channels you can't go direct to a channel, you must scan one at a time up and down. If you're using a cable or satellite box you can't just turn the tv on, you must then select an input with the roku style remote upon powering it up. If that remote goes missing it will be a real problem.

I installed this in under 10 mins in my Jeep Wrangler. Audio quality is great. The only neg thing I can say is that the included instructions are vague as to where to find the android app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this just a monitor, or does it actually have a TV tuner built it?
Yes. This has an ATSC tuner built in.

SHOULD this set work with Comcast cable?
I tried different configurations between our coax cable plugged into this new TV and my existing devices (Cable set box, old VCR player, DVD player) & it still just finds 2-3 Cable channels in setup.
If using cable direct to the tv, you must have the tv tuner set to "cable" However with comcast most if not all channels are now encrypted and you will need a convertor box with your cable subscription

Does this TV (Hisense Model 40H4C) have A/V inputs for VCR/DVD/BluRay/etc?
This has 3 hdmi inputs and 1 composite video input. No component input

No browser, just Roku apps
