Very easy to set up and link to my base station. Picture quality is great! My only complaint is the delay in activating video....I receive a notification of motion detected but it’s at the tail end of the motion. An example is a noisy truck driving by triggering a motion and the video only captures 2 seconds of the back end of the vehicle.

Good value Smart Thermostat

The thermostat was fairly easy to install, both on my home heating/AC system and home network. The instructions provided were excellent. I used the PEK unit and had an issue with the AC compressor turning on with the fan. Ecobee's customer service, via their online chat, was excellent in solving the issue, which was caused by a wire to the AC compressor that needed to bypass the PEK unit. A great feature is the ability to set both the Heat and AC settings automatically rather than 'heat' or 'cool' only settings. My HVAC system has the ability to continuously run the fan at very low speeds but the Ecobee 3 does not have that functionality. It would be a nice improvement if this was offered.

Nice camera for outdoors

This is a good camera providing a clear picture, though with improvements, would warrant a 5 star rating. I mounted the camera outside and purchased separately a weatherproof power adapter. It was fairly easy to set up on my home network through the required Arlo Base unit. Unfortunately, you are required to purchase the base station for this camera, unlike the Arlo Q cameras. An option without the base unit should be offered. The other improvement would be the location of the plug in on the camera. Using the magnetic mount requires the camera to be tilted slightly to the side in order to plug in the elbow shaped power cord. You could mount the camera upside down and flip the picture, but this would expose the plug-in to the elements.

Alexa understands my commands 95% of the time and allows immediate feedback on how it responds to my commands. Looking forward to using more of its functionality.
