When I bought my laptop, out of the box my boot time was 3 minutes. I tweaked my laptop and dropped the boot time to 2 minutes. Once I installed the EVO SSD, my boot time is now some 20 seconds. YMMV.
The install is easy but you will need an adapter cable to go from your laptop's USB to the SSD when performing the cloning operation. This in not contained in the SSD box. Have the proper screwdriver and insure it is of good quality. Take your time, be sure you ground yourself to remove static charge before you start. This is a super performance enhancement.

Bought the protection plan for piece of mind

With the high cost of repairs I thought this a practical move. Factory warranties typically only last one year and dealing with the factory can be more problematic. I bought the 5 year plan for my whirlpool refrigerator. Its covered from top to bottom for 5 years. If anything goes wrong Best Buy's Geek Squad owns the problem. They'll even replace the frig if after three attempts to repair it do not fix the issue. I have not used the service so far so I do not know how well they do their thing however. I gave the plan a 5 star for the top to bottom responsibility for 5 years straight that Geek Squad provides.

This refrig is roomier than my previous Frigidaire by 1 square foot but it seems much roomier than that. More space in the freezer for sure and a little more in the refrig section. Its runs very quietly. The freezer section stays a steady 0F and the refrig section is a steady 35F-37F. Produce stays crispy and fresh. Its nice to be able to see into the drawers without opening them as they are clear plastic. The drawers slide in and out with great ease as well. You can easily move the shelving around to accommodate your groceries both in the main compartment and on the door. The only downside is the door can scratch easily as it is painted so you must be careful. A great unit worthy of a second look at this price point.

This Aspire R15 is probably the value leader for an Intel i5 laptop with a great looking display to boot. As far as I know, Best Buy is the only place where it's available. I've updated all the drivers and tweaked my Windows 10 install to improve performance and now its rather speedy as well. The key pad is back lit, is comfortable and even has a number pad. The laptop has 4 USB connections with one of them being a C type connection. The display is stable and stays in the position you place it. You can also see pretty good from various angles of view. The case is a platinum plastic but well made. Its reasonably light and quiet as fan noise is minimal. The power chord is appears to be plenty long. My only negative is the power chord jack that plugs into the laptop is not as robust as my previous Aspire R14 laptop. You need to be very careful with it as there exists the possibility it could get broken if manhandled. As long as your careful with it, it should be fine. All in all, Acer has done a fine job with this economy model laptop.
