Amazing Quest was the original British release title of the 1937 comedy Romance and Riches (aka Riches and Romance). Making a rare return trip to England, Cary Grant plays the heir to a huge fortune. Alas, Grant is miserable, because he's never worked for his money. Determined to prove his worth, Grant makes a wager than he can earn his keep for a full year without ever touching the family millions. He loses his bet when he must draw upon his money to wed poverty-stricken Mary Brian, the better to save her from an unhappy marriage of convenience. Still, his experiences among the working classes have left an indelible impression; turning his back on his "equals," Grant invites all of his newly acquired lowborn friends to his wedding reception. Like His Girl Friday, Penny Serenade, and Charade, Amazing Quest is one on the ever-growing list of Cary Grant films that have lapsed into public domain, and thus are more readily available than when first released. Amazing Quest was based on a novel by that talented British workhorse E. Phillips Oppenheim.
Because I'm a video collector, I often am on the look out for the older vintage movies. Are they all Academy Award winners? Not by a long shot, but, as a hobby, I'm interested in working to enlarge my collection. Life includes the Good, the Bad, and and Ugly. Why shouldn't a library?
As a collector of video, this is a good addition to my video library. I've seen it and enjoyed the story. The relational struggle was well played and it's a movie I would recommend.
This massive box set devoted to the work of slapstick legends The Three Stooges contains 190 of their celebrated shorts, a pair of feature length films, 28 never-before-released shorts, and three animated shorts featuring the trio.
I recall watching the Three Stooges as I was growing up and have been looking at a comprehensive collection for quite some time. This was the opportunity I was waiting for. I had a gift card and used it on this purchase to add to my video library. I look forward to many hours of entertainment!

What's great about it: I've been looking at a comprehensive collection for quite some time.
I enjoyed this movie and was intrigued how it brought to light the ease of gossip, misunderstanding, and assumptions. Emma Stone stole the show and I've enjoyed her other film works also.
This movie was enjoyable because it took me back to my own youth when using 8mm film for projects. My high school friends and I created a number of movies. The thought of "super" 8mm was still beyond our reach. Enjoyable movie!
I enjoyed this movie, though it is Sci-Fi, it challenged my thinking about the use of my time and life. Good escape and action. Thought provoking as well.
What's great about it: Challenges thinking of the use of a very limited commodity: time.
