Sound great / awful fit / awful cord
on March 31, 2016

I really wish I could give these a better review. They do sound great... as long as you're not moving. As the cord moves on your neck, every movement is conducted though the cord to the earbuds drowning out the music. Since the cord makes so much noise every time it moves, I thought I'd try wearing them over the ear. That was a no go because they have an absolutely idiotic clip system to shorten the cord. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get the cord length correct.
These are also among the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever owned. I personally can't stand foam tips and the silicone tips just don't fit right.
It's a shame there are so many drawbacks because they really do have great sound, particularly for BT earbuds.

Disappointed
on December 21, 2015

I was really disappointed with these headphones. When wired, with noise cancelling off, they sounded great. But, when you turn on the noise cancelling, you lose your highs, your volume, and the overall sound becomes, what I can only describe as, muddy. Go wireless, and the sound gets worse. There are very audible artifacts that MAY become white noise after a while, but for $300 headphones are unacceptable. Additionally, these phones can only be paired with one device at a time and the associated smartphone app is mediocre at best.
I've owned a pair of Bose QC15s for some time and love them. While you do give up SOME sound quality with the NC (nature of the beast, I guess), the sound is fuller, richer than the JBLs. I guess I'll stick with wired for now.

NOT eSATA despite product description

Despite the fact that highlighted under product features it states:
"eSATA interface"
"Allows speedy file updates. Rely on the USB interface when eSATA is unavailable for easy access"
This dock has only a USB 3.0 port. I purchased this specifically as an eSATA dock.

Audio/video sync problems
on January 31, 2015
Posted by: NYITpro
from Long Island, NY
Very nice picture and decent sound. However, the audio and video had serious synchronization issues (at least with cable). It was often like watching a dubbed foreign film. I tried playing with the audio delay setting, other audio settings, tried different HDMI cables, even swapped out the cable box with another I had in the house. I ended up putting my 10 year old Toshiba 32" back (which has never had any syncing issues). This TV is on its way back to Best Buy.

Description is Not Accurate
By BoomerSooner from Norman
I purchased this item online. It indicates it is a black refrigerator although the picture shows silver. In additions it states that there is a crisper drawer in this model. There isn't. There is another model that states it is silver with black sides and with no crisper drawer. However, this model appears to be identical to that model as it too is silver with black sides and has no crisper.
I am sure the refrigerator is quite nice. It's just not the item described and therefore was returned without testing. I hope this helps someone else not make the mistake I did. After loading this into our car and hauling it home and then upstairs to learn it wasn't the correct item, well, it was not a very pleasant experience. If having an all black refrigerator is important to you, do not order this model.

Description IS accurate
September 2, 2014
From the specifications:
Color Category: Stainless/Stainless look
Cabinet Side Color: Black
Notice the color category (as opposed to the "cabinet side color"). Also, note description in the name of the product: "Compact Refrigerator-Stainless Steel." And, as you mentioned, the photo also shows a stainless look door.
To give this product one star because you did not understand the description, picture, and specs is simply unfair.

What are you watching?
June 20, 2015
Not all programming is in 1080p. Blu-Ray, yes. Roku, also yes. Cable TV, no. A TV is not going to take a 1080i signal and magically change it 1080p. Try piping a known 1080p signal to your TV and see what the display reports.

This 1 star rating isn't what it appears..read on
By daveb
I went and purchased this based on the info on the website here. It states there is also an AM band...wrong! It also states there is an aux in...right. But then it states that it's not mp3 player compatible..really?? That's (as probably all of you know who are reading this) what that is for. Plus I personally wasn't very impressed by the actual "quality" of the sound. I'd rate it a 3 and that's being rather liberal with that! Best Buy needs to have someone list their items and info who actually can do something as "difficult" as that! So tomorrow I have the "pleasure" of returning this and trying to find what I'm actually looking for. Couldn't care less about it being an HD radio, really need an AM band however.

Perhaps the description has changed...
July 3, 2015
... but I do not see anywhere that AM radio is included. The closest is in the specs where it states there are 0 AM presets. Additionally, if AM radio is what is needed, many AM stations now broadcast in HD as well. As far as audio quality, I would not expect CD quality sound from a $50 radio. After all, you do get what you pay for.

9500ix not compatible with Apple
By jamesjm from NYC
The 9500ix is not compatible with APPLE. If you want to update the RD with Red Light Camera coverage, you'll have to find a window's computer or install emulation software. You'll also have to get a AC plug adapter for power and a usb cable. Escort has you jumping through a lot of hoops to do simple updates. Plus in doesn't work half the time.
Save YOUR money until Escort gets it act together. This is an expensive RD that only gives you a false sense of security around LASER. LASER speed traps are a very popular revenue producer for municipalities in NY and NJ. You're only a sitting duck with the 9500ix and laser.

YOUR title says it all
December 27, 2015
Jim9813, there is an iOS APP and an Android APP available (not two different pieces of hardware). However, the OP was complaining that the device could only be updated via a Windows computer (as opposed to a Mac). According to Escort's web site, this is no longer the case (the original post is two years old). However, before mocking a comment, one should learn to carefully read it first.

No Measurement
By 6CupsADay
I have tried to make 6-cups of coffee from this machine since I got it. However there are no markings anywhere to indicate water level for 6-cups. I've tried experimenting with different water levels, settings and coffee scoops only to find none worked right and the coffee did not taste good at all. Spoke with NINJA reps on their chat line and even called Customer Support only to find that they didn't know and could not help me. They suggested I brew singular cups for my 6 cups...absurd

A little research goes a long way
February 22, 2016
I am thinking of purchasing this product and it is obvious from the little I've read so far that there are only four settings for volume - full carafe, half carafe, travel mug, and regular mug. For each setting, a specific (programmed) amount of water is used. This machine is not designed to make a specific number of cups (unless that number is one). Everything is automatic. And to blame support reps for not knowing how to do something the product is not designed to do is ludicrous.

Did you expect silence?
September 25, 2016
Bose, unarguably, has the the best noise cancellation tech in the industry. But even the best cannot eliminate all frequencies equally. Bose have chosen to concentrate their efforts to remove the most intrusive sounds that reside in the lower end of the sound spectrum. You also have to understand how noise cancelling works; consistent sounds (the hum of a jet engine, the noise of a subway train) are removed far more efficiently that varying sounds (say, that of a conversation). Simply put, an inverse phase is produced to eliminate outside noise; sounds of varying/complex frequencies (such as the human voice) and volumes are simply more difficult to sample and eliminate.

Excellent headphone terrible design
By Franciscomiami
As with many 1 star review my problem doesn't differ. The headphone are excellent when they work but they do have one terrible flaw; the switch to turn on/off the bluetooth and also to pair it with a device. When this happen the switch loses its tension and you can no longer turn them on, off or pair with a device.
I do not recommend these headphone, you are risking a $400+ headphone to a simple design flaw that needs to be change.

Design flaw?
September 25, 2016
Giving these "Excellent" (your word) headphones one star because of a PERCEIVED design flaw is ridiculous; why would you assume that the switch will fail (lose tension) under regular use? Why not say they're not waterproof, so they will not survive a rain storm? Or mention the plastic housing which renders them susceptible to drops? Or even the rocker switch for the volume which can become unresponsive of not designed and manufactured well? I'd like to believe that these $350 headphones (NOT $400+. even with sales tax) live up the reputation Bose has cultivated for quality products. The only "design flaw" I see is the built-in battery which, under normal use, will likely yield "only" about five years of use before it will no longer hold a sufficient charge.

Will or does Bose make an inline controller (volume) for Android devices?

Bose does not currently make an fully Android compatible in-line controller for the QC25. I do not believe they ever made one for the QC15 either, though they do make an Android version of the QC20.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that it is unlikely that one will be available any time in the near future.
