You are Talion, Ranger of the Black Gate. For what seems like eons, you have guarded the entrance to Mordor, keeping watch over Sauron's undisturbed dwelling place with relative uneventfulness. But in the blink of an eye, everything you hold dear is snatched from your grasp. Your family, your friends — even your very life is taken from you in one fell swoop that leaves your soul desolate and filled with an eternal rage. Resurrected by an unforgiving spirit, you have one purpose to your life, one thing that keeps your heart pumping and your mind from giving in to the relentless grief — vengeance. Prepare yourself to embark on a dogged vendetta that calls upon you to fight your way through Mordor and uncover the truth of the spirit who compels you. This epic tale of revenge and redemption transforms you into the most feared force in the land — the Shadow of Mordor.Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delivers a dynamic game environment where the player orchestrates their personal plan of vengeance as they bend Mordor to their will. The game begins on the night of Sauron's return to Mordor, as his Black Captains brutally execute the Rangers of the Black Gate. Players become Talion, a ranger who loses his family and everything he holds dear, only to be returned from death by a mysterious Spirit of vengeance. Based on the player's actions with the in-game Nemesis System, every enemy encountered is distinct and can evolve to become a personal archenemy through the course of the game. As Talion's personal vendetta unfolds, players uncover the mystery of the Spirit that compels him, discover the origin of the Rings of Power and confront the ultimate nemesis.

Good game and good story line

This was a Christmas present from my wife and to be honest the first game I received for a long time, (remember Command and Conquer 3?)
The game is 5 DVDs and it took 90 minutes to install.
At first I thought I would not like the game because of all of the different commands you had to memorize to be proficient. But once I hurdled the learning curve I enjoyed the game a lot.
The game is the story of a man, Talion, who's wife and daughter were killed by the Black Hand of Sauron. It isTalion's journey for revenge. He is possessed by a wraith, Celebrimbor. We find out about 1/3 into the game that Celebrimbor played a very important part in the Middle Earth world. (If you have read the Silmarillion you already know who Celebrimbor is). It seems as if the story takes place between The Hobbit and Lord of the Ring. Gollum makes a brief appearance in the game still looking for his precious.
This is an over the shoulder slasher game. The graphics of the game were very good. The story kept my interest as well. I usually don't watch the cut out scenes but the ones in Shadow were very good and held my interest. There are plenty of side missions too that will earn you extra XP and gear.
The only part that got a little old was when you battled the chiefs and captains. They always talked trash adn their trash talk became repetitive, unfortunately you can't just hit Esc and cancel out of that. One thing I really liked is if you fight a captain or warchief and lost the they will level up making them even harder to kill the next time you see them.
The game is very violent, a lot of Orc and Uruk blood and beheadings. It took me about 40 hours to beat the game, but there were still some side missions I will go back to and finish.
I think that even if you're not into Middle Earth you will still enjoy the game.

Very nice but not perfect

I bought this because my Note 10.1 was beginning to get a little slow. With the exception of a couple of negatives this is an awesome tablet.
Likes: The screen. It is beautiful. I can't get over how nice of a screen and how good the picture quality is. I put a ripped blue ray on it and the quality was amazing. The speed is excellent as well. A lot of people hate Touchwiz, I personally prefer Touchwiz over a native Android OS. I'll never buy a phone or tablet that does not have an external SD card slot so this fit the bill there.
It is so light and thin. It has a smaller footprint than my 10.1 but because it has a smaller bezel the screen is .4" larger.
The sound quality is nice too. The speakers are on the side but still produce nice sound.
Dislikes: Bloat...major bloat. I am tired of all the bloat that the manufacturers put on devices. Thank goodness it is so easy to root the device. I rooted it the same day I got it home and removed all the bloat that it came with.
For some reason a few games do not play well on this. Simpsons Tapped out for one. They are laggy and unplayable. There are many posts from frustrated Tab S owners about this issue.
All in all

I bought this specifically to dual boot between Android and Ubuntu Touch. So the fist thing I did was unlock the boot loader and root the device. (I strongly recommend that anyone that buys any smartphone or tablet to learn how to root the devices).
It dual boots between the two OS's without a problem and once rooted all of the bloat that comes pre-installed can be removed.
I really like the rubbery feel back to it, this doesn't feel like I'm going to drop it like I do with most tablets.
The screen quality is noticeable better than my Galaxy 10.1 original, much better. It is also faster. It seems to load apps quickly and does not lag or stutter. (but then I don't have it filled with apps like my 10.1 either.
Battery life is not that great. I'm not sure why they put in a smaller battery between the original N7 and the 2013 model but it shows. With just some moderate use a couple of hours/day I have to recharge the batter every other day.
The speakers are in the back but they sound very good for a tablet. They sound better than my Note 10.1 front facing speakers.
The Good:
-Screen quality
-Fast
-Size (you can slip in a jacket pocket)
-Easy to hold on to
-Pre-loaded with Kit Kat 4.3 upgradable to 4.4.2
The Bad
-Locked boot loader, (but everyone does this now a days).
-Loaded with bloatware that I would never use, (this was solved by rooting the device).
-Battery life is just so so
-No expandable memory

My wife got this for me for my 50th Birthday. I never would have spent this amount of money for a point and shoot camera but I had been complaining about my old camera so she got this for me. That said once you get past the price this is a wonderful camera. I found it to be easy to learn. The controls are very intuitive, the settings also have popup instructions that tell you a bit about the setting you are on, (this can be disabled if this sort of thing annoys you).
I haven't used this a lot but have taken it to a birthday party and outdoors for some puppy play dates. The indoor photos are very good, by far better than my old camera, Casio Exilm EX Z-70. There is no comparison of the video quality either. I was amazed on the quality of videos this took of the dogs playing.
As a tip, if you take a lot of action photos, learn how to use the "S" mode and it will greatly improve the action photos you take.
I was a bit worried about the battery life because I read a lot of complaints about this regarding the first version. But it looks like Sony got this straightened out with the M2 because I have taken about 100 photos and 15 minutes of video and have not had to recharge the battery yet.
The NFC works really well with my Galaxy S4 so I can wirelessly copy my photos to my phone. You do need to install the Sony Play Memories App to do this though. One thing you can't do is to transfer AVCHD videos through wireless. I've read that doing this may damage the videos due to the compression used during transfer, I haven't tried MP4 format yet. One thing that I don't like about Play Memories is that I can't chose where to download the photos to on my phone. I want them to go to a certain folder on the SD Card but it automatically chooses a folder on the phone itself and I have not been able to change this.

What's great about it: Easy to use if you already have some camers knowledge. If you are a beginner there will be a bit of a learning curve.
What's not so great: It is expensive.
