Great product with a hitch using with Windows 10

This is a very high performance project, typical of Netgear, but the installation of the driver & utility package under Windows 10 has a hitch. The installation package is designed to install both the drivers (which you need) and the Netger managment utility (which is nice but not necessary). The installation runs to a point under Windows 10 and then fails. At that point the driver has been installed but not the managment utility. That is not clear until you try to use this device and you find that it's recognized as another Wi-Fi adapter by Windows 10 and is working fine. Given that Windows 10 is coming up on it's second anniversary, it's surprizing to me that Netgear hasn't figured out how to a) make their utility work with Win10, or b) be aware enough to just install the needed driver and then show a message that the utility is not compatiable or needed. I wouldn't let this scare you off from this device. The performance is great and I'm very happy with mine.

Nice if you want a small keyboard with touchpad

I'm not a touchpad person. I always carry a mouse with my laptops, but there are times when a mouse just doesn't have a surface to work on, in which case a touchpad is better then nothing. This Logitech keyboard seems like a good fit for use with a TV-connected PC where you would be using the keyboard on your lap without a desk. It is narrow enough to hold in both hands comfortable and use the touchpad with your right thumb while pressing the "left click" button at the top left of the keyboard with your left thumb. It's light weight and shows economical construction (meaning don't abuse it), but for the price it seems to serve a particular use very well.

Nice regid case for your WD Passport hard drive

I have several of the WD Passport external hard drives, and I like this case the best of any I've used. The drives fit snugly into the bottom half of the case with just enough room at one end to hold a USB flash drive which I carry with a bootable copy of Acronis for doing "cold" backups & restores and drive partitioning. The top of this case has a nice recess about big enough to hold the USB 3.0 cable which comes with these drives. The case is rigid (more so than padded) so will protect the drive from getting knocked around inside a bag or backpack.

A big charge from a not so big package

I bought this PNY battery pack so I could charge my phone and other devices at night while sleeping on a camping trip, and then recharge the battery pack in the daytime. It worked wonderfully for this purpose, and I was able to go two or three days before I had to recharge the battery pack and this was after charging a nearly drained smart phone. The LCD display gives a clear indication of the remaining charge in the battery pack, and also the charging current draw individually for the two USB charging ports. It's a bit big, but not really for a 10,400 mAh device. If you need a lot of power or are going where you need several days of recharging capacity I would recommend this unit. Now looking for a nice carry case for it.

Does this unit have auto shut off?
It seems to shut down once you remove the device you are charging. So far I have only used it with devices which were powered on during the changing cycle, so they were never "done", so I don't know if it can sense when the device being charged it full and might shut itself off. However, if you just turn it on with no load it will turn itself off after a short while.

Does this work well with an older iPad (3rd generation)?
It should power any device using a charging cord with a standard male USB connection.
