I researched this TV compared to many others before buying it. I’m absolutely sure I chose the right one. It has an awesome picture and I think is priced below what it could be. Set up was easy, the 4K looks amazing although limited in programming right now. Regular HD is upscaled and looks better than HD on my other TV’s.

Router or extender
I have a ATT modem, the signal coming from it is not strong enough to reach from the bedroom into our living room which I'd maybe 50 ft and has two walls to go through..do I need to buy a router or a extender to use with our wireless iPads and laptops we have all Mac . If so could you tell me brand or type of what I need and the difficulty setting it up.
Get an AC router and bridge it to your current modem. Turn wifi off on the router and turn on the AC router wifi. Should work between walls fine. I have one on the bottom level of a 3 story home and get great coverage everywhere.

will this work with CenturyLink on 20 mbps?
Yes. I use it with Century Link service. I use the Actiontec modem that is compatible with Century link, and bridge it to use this router. Turn off the wifi on the modem and use this Asus router for the wifi. It will handle up to at least 40 Mbps. Much more secure, faster, and covers more area.

I have a Fitbit and it looks like what you're asking cannot be done. I think it has to do with battery life. It would deplete the battery quicker if on all the time.

I want to buy a TV with the best image
Get at least a 240hz refresh rate model. That combined with high def cable or satellite service will give you the best picture. Of course there are now 4K hi def TVs, but the service providers haven't caught up to this yet, so the programming may be limited.

Why can't I get audio from my Apple TV?
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 only about 4 years old. I got my Apple TV all set up, but no sound. Support says that some "older TV's" may require an audio cable in addition to the HDMI cable. I don't consider this an "older TV". Suggestions?
Try changing the setting in Apple TV. Settings>Audio & Video. From auto to 16 bit. Or if that doesn't work, try turning off the Dolby digital out setting from on to off.
