Fine router in my small apartment

I could not update my previous (different brand) router as I was instructed by the manufacturer so I bought this Linksys instead. Hook-up was easy via ethernet to my PC, and only a little more difficult to my smartphone, laptop and two printers via wireless. The router provides good signal throughout my small apartment and a ways outside, but I have no way of knowing how strong it would be in a larger space. I was pleased with the ease in setting my own network name and password, compared to being stuck with the nonsense name on the previous one.

I wanted to upgrade to Bluetooth connectivity, and this let me do it. I had a couple of smaller SanDisk players (Clip Zip) and was highly satisified with them. Plus, the only other MP3 option with Bluetooth started with an "i" and I don't use their products. That made this a no-brainer. Relatively easy to sync from Windows Media Player, so I haven't used the drag-and-drop method of loading it.

I'd purchased another brand of external drive from a different retailer. About a day later, I thought the price seemed high and checked Best Buy. They had two makes for three-quarters the price of the one I originally bought ... so back it went and I went to Best Buy. This one was not on the shelf, but some rummaging by an assistant in the back room found two of them. This Dell is in a much more robust case than the make I originally purchased, only uses one USB port for power and connection rather than two on the other, and I like the black color much better than the other one's "putty."

I like these speakers. They're far from perfect, but they're far from that price. Set-up was easy, the controller is OK (although I'm not crazy about the rotary top for volume as opposed to a regular knob or about the bright blue LED light). For the sale price, I'd buy these again if the need arises.

The built-in stylus is great for anyone with big fingers. It lets me type easily on the keyboard (which is always too small on smartphones) ... and I no longer have to carry a separate one in my pocket. Great camera, at least the back facing one. I don't do "selfies," so I can't rate the forward facing one. Phone quality itself? Almost forgot. Its probably the best I've had. My only complaint (and the reason for four stars instead of five) is the location of the power button. Its in the middle of the back, and too easy to bump, turning the phone on. That's a problem carrying it in my shirt pocket, and I'm sure it'd be worse in a pants pocket. Overall, good unit for the money and I can't imagine it would cost LG to re-engineer their phones to put the power (and volume) controls on the side rather than the back.

Its a good memory stick ... but I can't get it to work on my smartphone (which is supposed to be OTG compatible). For the price, its fine for just my desktop but I didn't really need "just another memory stick." I've since found other ways to transfer pictures, etc., from smartphone to PC, so this'll be the last device of its kind I'll buy.

It has a USB jack, and I'm told it will play from a thumb drive but I've never tried it.
