This is a great smaller, lower cost TV if you don't need or want a Smart TV. The 720p gives excellent picture quality. It's very hard to see the picture quality difference between 720p & 1080p on a TV this size, so you can save some money over buying a 1080p one . The input versatility is better than most other similar TVs - It has 3 HDMI inputs, Not just 2, it also has a combo Composite / Component video input, not just Composite and it also has a VGA input to connect your computer! The picture quality is great, however the sound quality is not so good, but that's to be expected on most TVs of this size. It's fine for most viewing. It should be possible to connect 2.1 "powered" computer speakers to this TV since it also has a Headphone audio output jack. I have not tried that yet, but it would be a lot cheaper than a Soundbar with subwoofer!

Bought this player to go with our 2nd TV, a 32 in 720p with HDMI input. This is a great player - has HD Upconversion, which many DVD only players don't have. It also has an HDMI output and a combined Composite / Component output, along with the coaxial cable output.. While doing research I discovered most other DVD players have No HDMI output and only Composite and Coaxial cable output, No Component output. The HDMI output & the Upconversion makes DVDs look great. You can't go wrong with this player's picture quality and connection versatility. It's counterproductive to hook up a DVD player to a HD TV that has no upcomversion and to use a lower quality Composite video connection.

Great Monitor - Better than expected

Bought this to replace my 6 1/2 yr. old 21.5" HD monitor that died. Increased to 23" size because bezel is thinner than old one, so it only takes up about 1/2 " more desk space. The IPS monitor is big improvement over my prior one in image quality - very crisp, detailed and brilliant - plus this has wider viewing angle with no loss of image quality. In addition you have 3 types of input that can be used, compared to many other monitors that only offer 2 types. You can't go wrong with this monitor, especially if you can get lucky and get it on sale as I did.
