The Pirates series really does get worse with each installment, and this 4th movie does not buck that trend. (Nor does the 5th, which is just dreadful) There's maybe a laugh or two to be had out of this movie, but that's only if you're a huge fan of the characters and the previous films.
Deliver your favorite playlist anywhere in your home with the Amazon Echo Dot voice-controlled device. Control most electric devices through voice activation, or schedule a ride with Uber and order a pizza. The Amazon Echo Dot voice-controlled device turns any home into a smart home with the Alexa app on a smartphone or tablet.
I wouldn't exactly call this necessary or life-changing, but I got one for my parents and they get some fun about it. Its usefulness obviously goes up if you decide to dip your toe into smart home devices (lights, heating, etc), which the Echo controls well.

An exact replica of the original console in compact size, this fun blast from the past includes two 90s-style controllers. Playing Super Nintendo with my best friend after school was a regular part of my childhood, and this device brings those memories right back. And I couldn't nearly afford this many different games back then, so it's also letting me experience some titles that I've always wanted to play but couldn't..
I never complain about movies being too long when I'm enjoying myself...and this movie was way, way, way too long.
Between that and the fact that the movie feels more like a series of unconnected action set pieces than one cohesive story, it'll probably play a lot better at home, where you can take a break between scenes. For die-hard Transformer fans only.
Part 3 is probably the second best of the live-action Transformer films after the first one, but that's not saying a whole lot. Seeing the Decepticons lay waste to an entire city is effectively chilling, Shia LeBeouf's Sam is less annoying here than in previous installments, and there are some nice robot-on-robot battles before it again becomes the "Optimus Prime does everything" show. For preexisting fans only, though, I think.
Nightmare 5 and 6 are not exactly the best in the main series, which reached its peak with the 3rd installment. Likewise, "Freddy vs Jason" is no classic, but it does give you what it advertises, and is worth it for the cheap crossover thrill. "New Nightmare" is the best of this bunch, though it might be worth buying this collection if you already have the first one, and you just want to lay claim to owning the whole series.
I actually missed this movie back in the 80s, and didn't discover it until adulthood. I didn't know what I was missing; this movie is a blast. Ramping up the black comedy inherent in the zombie concept, "Return" still contains everything else you love from the genre.
Get in on the craze with the Pokemon Go Plus. It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth so you can leave it in a pocket as you play, and it has an LED indicator and a vibration feature to notify you when Pokemon are nearby. The Pokemon Go Plus uses a low-energy connection to reduce battery drain during the hunt.
This should have been a great tool to help cut down on the grind of stockpiling Pokemon candies, but the amount of alerts you receive (combined with the inability to switch out stronger Pokeballs for rarer encounters) means you're better off just playing the game on your phone.
I'm there for anything Shane Black directs, and this movie is no exception. Like the equally great Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, this is about a team of hapless L.A. private eyes, but this time set in the stylistic 1970s.
