Job For A Cowboy is known for being a very heavy Deathcore band that relies on aggression and growling vocals. While those vocals are still present on this album, as is the aggression, there is more of a technical precision on the tracks on Sun Eater, particularly with the bass lines.
Many of the tracks do have catchy hooks. My only complaint is that there is a bit of a repetitive tone later in the album. Regardless, JFAC continues to evolve their brand of sonic brutality for the better.
There are some really catchy and heavy songs on this album. A very aggressive and emotional effort, yet mature at the same time.
My only issue is that a few of the songs do sound a bit repetitive midway through the album. Thankfully, it's a great sound, so repetition isn't necessarily a band thing in this particular case.
This is definitely one of WWE's most creative releases in the history of their home video library. WWE DVDs have mostly become formulaic since many wrestlers either don't reveal too much about themselves on the documentary portion or WWE is careful about how they present them.
On this particular DVD, Paul Heyman seems very open revealing very many topics that haven't been talked about much in his career and even his personal life. You hear about his days at Studio 54, how he broke into the wrestling business, his days as Paul E. Dangerously in the AWA and WCW, running ECW, and his contentious relationship with WWE, among other topics.
The documentary portion is perhaps the best in WWE's home video library. The extras are different because with Paul Heyman mostly being a manager, or advocate, there aren't many matches. Although, with Disc 2 being entirely promos, it's a great look at how Heyman has progressed as a character throughout the various phases of his career.
Machine Head continues their incredible streak of instant classic heavy metal albums. Since releasing the Ashes of Empires in 2003, they continue to raise the bar for the heavy metal genre with their blistering anthems of perseverance and despair with each album that has followed, including 2007's The Blackening, 2011's Unto the Locust, and then this specific album.
Some of my favorite tracks on this album include heavier tracks such as "Eyes of the Dead" and "Game Over." There's also some unique tracks like "Beneath the Silt," which is somewhat reminiscent of something the Deftones might come up.
Overall, an incredible album that was definitely one of the best releases of 2014.
With Supreme Sound technology, these Skullcandy Ink'd 2 S2IKGY-385 earbud headphones allow you to experience crisp, true-to-life audio. The 1-button microphone/remote enables simple control of a connected device.
These earphones have great sound, are sturdy and lightweight, and very stylish. Really enjoy the mic for phone calls, as well as the buttons attached to it. They allow me to skip songs on my phone without having to stop midset during a workout and sort through my phone's music library.
The best part of this album is that not track sounds alike. Every song is unique and interesting. Mushroomhead takes a lot of chances on this record, and they pay off in the form of great songs.

Same intensity you would expect from Whitechapel with a new sense of maturity. Perfect album that you can listen to the whole way through on a long car ride, or not skip if you transfer the songs to a phone or MP3 player.
