Unfortunately, there is only one manufacturer of this type of product, and it is barely passable. The controls are very basic; I miss the rotary controls on the factory dash, as the buttons on this one are crude. Most importantly, though, is that the temperature fluctuates wildly, depending on what vent mode you choose. It seems that if you adjust the temperature just one degree either warmer or colder, it changes drastically, and that should not be; it should be a slight, gradual difference in temperature. If it wasn't for my disdain of commercial radio I would go back to the factory radio/climate controls in a second, but as it stands, I have no choice but to go with this Metra dash kit. Disappointing.
Stay entertained in your vehicle with this Kenwood DDX672BH in-dash deck that plays back DVDs, CDs and MP3s and features Bluetooth technology, which enables you to pair with compatible devices. A touch screen facilitates operation.

First impressions are: the screen resolution for artwork sucks, big time. The images are barely better than a blur. For the price you pay for this unit, Kenwood should have included a better quality screen. Yeah, I know what you're thinking - artwork is a minor thing, and yes, in the scheme of things, it might be. However, it's important to me, and I don't really care if it's not important to you. Also, the on-screen equalizer leaves a lot to be desired, as it is pretty basic. The preset ones aren't very good, so create your own settings. The bottom, front lip (which contains the volume control, etc.) protrudes enough to where it is difficult to touch the bottom on-screen "'buttons" above it - bad design on Kenwood's part. It also irks me that they decided to put the USB port on the back, where it is not consumer-friendly. Yeah, I know, this design allows for the bigger-than-normal screen, but I'd rather have a slightly smaller screen to accommodate a front USB port. Like others have mentioned, if any amount of sunlight happens to fall upon this deck (and it does) forget it, it's washed out. This is not a significant fault, as the driver doesn't really need to be looking at the screen anyway. Maybe it's just me, but I am not impressed with the HD radio that comes with this unit. To me, it's barely an improvement over standard radio signals. Overall, this is a decent unit, but, like I mentioned earlier, for the money you dish out it could have been designed better. I doubt I will buy another Kenwood deck, but I am stuck with this one for a while.
