I bought this for my DJ business, it is a an excellent projector for the price, comparable to the $1,000 plus projectors, only thing it doesn't offer is the short throw feature but you need to get into the $1,000.00 price point to get one of those.

If I have a smart TV with Bluetooth/ wireless technology and a wireless receiver, will this setup work with this projector without HDMI cables?

it is wireless so I'm assumming yes haven't tried out the wireless feature on the projector yet
