I LOVE music and enjoy a wide variety of "Flavors" (genres). I sold my old home and it's integrated whole-house sound system, got busy and was drifting away from music. :-( Well, I had no interest in buying a little speaker to Bluetooth my iPhone. They looked like a gimmick. Then a friend played his smartphone music on his portable speaker. I decided to check some speakers out. Then I checked some more.... lots more. Absolutely I trusted my ears. This Sony speaker sound is FANTASTIC and POWERFUL to me. It is so simple by design, yet packed with versatile features, including Link, Network, Bluetooth, USB, Audio jack, Google Cast, Software upgrades when needed, and the ability to pair in Stereo to a second Sony speaker. The sound is distinctly different when you push Extra Bass. Both envelopes are great! You can release the speaker grille with a small toggle. ITS A HOOT to see those small speakers working, belting out a great sound. With my Pandora, Apple Music, and Shazam, I am in music heaven... :-)

I liked the idea of a small, erasable device I could carry around with me from house to car to office every day. It seems familiar- like a thin, super-lightweight white smartphone with a charcoal color screen.
My criticisms:
1. When I got it home, I discovered it is not rechargeable, the battery is not replaceable... just throw it out after an unspecified period of usage.
2. You can't save part of your list. When you push the button, the whole screen erases.
3. When I carried my Boogie Board Jot around, several times I found my important reminders/everything gone- blank screen.
So I'll just use my Smartphone or paper.

Great dependable, well-insulated, energy efficient freezer. The first two days it ran a lot to get 200 fresh, homemade soups down to the zero degree temp I chose. After that, the freezer only came on as needed, or to recirculate the air when I opened it. Once the soups were frozen, I popped them out of my plastic containers, vacuum-bag sealed them, and placed them back into my new freezer. (Vacuum sealing can increase their shelf life to two years - instead of the common 3 months!!)
The Digital Temp readout is VERY important to me, and I'm glad I can lock my Settings choices.
It's ingenious that I can quickly, easily switch the temp and use the entire large compartment as a large refrigerator!!

Sony - h.ear go Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Charcoal black - What kind of battery does this have and is it removable?
"Permanent" Rechargeable Battery... You just plug a Micro USB cable (one is included) into Speaker, like any Android device. (You still can play your Apple device on it.) If it ever needs a new battery, Sony can do that.
Because I take it everywhere, I got Geek squad on it. They will just give me a whole, brand new Sony if it dies.

Does it have a radio
It's not a radio, it's a Fantastic Speaker. Use your Smartphone or iPod or other Bluetooth as it's source. I love the FREE Pandora APP. When I give it thumbs up or down, it just gets better and better. So far I don't mind the few ads.
Sony offers other smaller, cheaper models. I just LOVE this Speaker. Good luck.

Does this have a refrigerator setting?
Similar size/model with stainless steel is labeled as a fridge/freezer (FGVU21F8QF), it seems this would work the same?
YES, you can use it as a Freezer, OR a very large Refrigerator. However, because it is all one compartment/chamber, everything will be at the same temperature. (You choose the temp that makes it one or the other.)
It is important to me that I can CHOOSE AN EXACT TEMPERATURE (visible LED number on the outside of the door) that my food will be maintained at. (Most freezers still have the cheap old rotating L-M-H dial, which makes you guess what letter will freeze varying quantities of food, and what variable temps your expensive food can end up at. I guess those people have to keep opening their freezers to recheck and readjust the dial.)
I read about an older couple that bought two units. This gives the couple the flexibility of using them as 2 freezers, 2 fridges, or 1 of each, depending on the season, holidays, and out of town family stays. Remember, these units hold loads of food more than the $3,500 designer models, at a fraction of the cost.
