I ordered this because I have been intrigued for awhile by induction cooking but would be highly unlikely to ever put out the money for a range or full-size cooktop of this type. I also figured in summer it would be nice to avoid the excess heat created by my normal coil burners. Mostly so far I have used this to boil water, and it is fine for that purpose.
But most recently I used it to simmer a rice mix, and that didn't go as well. Even on the lowest setting it cooked too quickly, and the bubbling in the pan suggested the cooktop was cycling on and off instead of creating a continuous energy stream. This can be problematic for anything other than boiling liquid alone. I am not entirely sure whether this is a defect or inherent to the cooktop, or to induction cooking in general, but I did read it in another review.
Overall, an intriguing item, and the $40 I paid was worthwhile just to try it out, but I'm not sure it is practical for most uses.

Many of these accidents could have been completely avoided just by wearing simple high visibility accessories, such as a pair Insignia Running Lights. Insignia 2-Pack Running Light were designed for getting the attention of motorists at a safe distance. It offers the perfect amount of light to keep you seen anywhere.

Not too bad at a low price

I'll start with the downsides: The lights are relatively dim and only have one flash pattern to choose from. It is also annoying that they use button batteries when it seems they could have been designed to accept AAA, and even moreso that the cases need to have four tiny screws removed to replace the batteries.
However, the lights have a significant advantage in the design of their clips. Many other similar flashers I've owned have had cheap integrated clips that don't hold well to anything. These have clips that rotate on a pivot and can actually reliably attach to thicker items. The lights also appear likely to be water-resistant as advertised (haven't had the opportunity to test this yet). For these reasons I don't regret purchasing them, but I couldn't necessarily recommend to others.

Perfect setup and size for light applications

I wanted an inexpensive 14-inch laptop to replace (for most but not all uses) my bulky and heavy 15.6" Dell Windows laptop purchased in 2013. Originally I had planned to purchase a Windows laptop with SSD and no optical drive, but after some research I quickly learned that for $200 you can do much better with a Chromebook than a Windows system. (I also have another 15.6" Windows laptop for work, 11" Acer Chromebook, 10" Samsung Tab, Fire 8 HD, and of course the cell phone - and each of these devices has its niche.)
Overall I am very pleased with this unit. Performance is good for everyday light use such as web browsing, and the size is perfect for that use; I haven't used it for much else. Battery life seems acceptable, though it is a little concerning that currently the meter says 83% left with 6:17 remaining, whereas a little while ago it said 87% with 7:44 remaining and I have not changed the intensity of my activity on it between those readings. That is quite the exponential drop-off. But when battery life is critical (and when physical space is at a premium) I can use the smaller Chromebook or a different device.
The screen looks nice for what it is. I have no problem with the resolution: I was coming from a larger-screen laptop with the same resolution, so this was actually an upgrade. The major caveat I will insert here is that the screen is NOT GLOSSY (BrightView) like the description says. Upon un-boxing this was a major disappointment and almost a dealbreaker for me. It seems difficult to find an inexpensive unit with a glossy screen these days. But most people seem to want the antiglare/matte finish now, and since I like the computer so much overall I decided to put up with it.
A couple other caveats: The case is kind of flimsy, so I am not sure how this will hold up physically over time; and there is only an microSD rather than full-size SD card reader, which originally was not my preference, but I do own several microSDs and maybe it was time to phase out the full-size anyway. And it IS nice to have the card fit all the way into the unit, unlike the full-size SD that slides only halfway into my other Chromebook.
SO, why did I rate this five-stars despite so many caveats? I don't know. I tend to be a negative writer, so take me with a grain of salt. But really, this is just a very pleasing device to use, I became comfortable with it immediately, and I think we will have some happy times together. So in the final analysis I have no real complaints.

Store this pack of 48 AAA batteries so you always have some handy. With bulk alkaline batteries in the drawer, you don't have to run to the store every time you get a new device or battery-powered toy. These 48 AAA batteries are the right size to power many small toys, gadgets and remote controls.

I bought this TV for use in my camping trailer. It has a clean and vivid display with good black levels if set up with optimal adjustments. These characteristics are by far the most important to me. The TV is a bit short on features, with no audio output other than the on-board speakers and only one HDMI jack. But sometimes this level of complexity is all you need, and in that case, this model is a good choice.
It is also worth noting that if you regularly need to transport this in the original box, the stand detaches and reattaches very easily with no screws needed - only a clip.

I was contemplating ditching my Windows phone due to various frustrations and decided to try this one out. After a few days of use, I was impressed with the physical feel of the phone, display quality, audio capabilities, and just about everything else other than the Android operating system, which has a lot of quirks.
I found it difficult if not impossible to turn off vibrations and other notifications on various apps, and I could not get the on-board calendar to sync with my MS Exchange work account. That is a necessity for me. So I returned the phone and went back to Windows. If you like to use Android or are at least willing to give it a shot, this phone is a great value. Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere.
