Like other reviewers, I also did a lot of research on 4k TVs. Specifically, I wanted a 4K television with HDR to take full advantage of the Xbox One X coming in November. Most of the current crop of HDR TVs are on the expensive side with OLEDs being (in my opinion) prohibitively expensive. I saw what TVs met my criteria at Best Buy and started from there.
The 2017 line of Vizio M Series TVs had quite a number of really good reviews. I went to go see it at my local Best Buy and I was impressed. So I decided to take a chance on the Vizio (it's my first) and I'm glad I did.
Pros: The picture is super sharp and clear. Black levels are super dark. I'm currently playing Hitman on the Xbox One S in HDR and am very impressed. What a difference it makes. Colors are more true, shadows are more lifelike, sunlight and shadows look very realistic. I can't wait to game in true 4k and HDR with the Xbox One X. I wish more current games took advantage of HDR color and lighting but I'm sure that list will grow a lot with the release of the Xbox One X. There is also NO lag in playing any game with the XBox One S set to HDR and 4k upscaling. Movies also look excellent and standard definition TV looks very good as well. The SmartCast app being able to control your TV with your smartphone is really cool.
Cons: The remote is very basic but functional. You just have to dig a bit deeper into menus with it instead of having a dedicated button for some things. And there's only one HDMI port (#1 port) that has the bandwidth to handle HDR. So if you have a PS4 Pro (I think it can handle HDR) and an Xbox One S or X eventually, you're going to have to decide which gets it or switch cables constantly. And the speakers are merely okay but most will get a soundbar (like me) or other speakers.
Bottom line: This is a fantastic TV with future-proof features for a great price. And most importantly, it looks and performs as well, if not better, than higher priced models from other brands. It looks better than my Samsung that cost me much more. I wanted a TV to play games on with no hitches in 4K and HDR and I found it. Don't be turned off by the Vizio name like I was in the beginning. This is an awesome TV.

Keep unwanted hair to a minimum with this Philips grooming tool. Excellent trimmer for all over

This trimmer comes with pretty much everything you would need to trim anywhere on your body, minus the hair on your head (but you probably could do that too). It works great to trim and cut chest hair to exactly the length you want it and the many heads and guides let it be the exact length you choose as well. The one thing I was surprised to find in the set was a foil shaver and it works very well on getting rid of hair just like a true electric shaver.
And I like that it can go into the shower too. Fully charged it says it will work for 60 minutes. Overall I was very pleased with this trimmer. And it comes with an actual leather bag to hold everything. Bonus !

There are several things I really like about this tablet and a few that could improve. Having a Kindle Fire 6" for my son and a Kindle Fire 7" for myself, I thought they would make a good comparison. Right when you take the Acer out of the box it gives a great first impression.
Loved:
- 10" of screen gives a lot of visual real estate for web pages. Makes it easy to touch and navigate
- Setup takes less than 10 minutes and is very straightforward
- Came with a full charge
- Very fast in opening and closing apps
- Having access to Google's Play store

Liked, but could be better
- Admittedly, it's a tablet but the sound was a bit muddled on videos
- The bigger the size video window, the more blurry it got. But most videos look very good
- Could use a little more onboard memory but the option for a MicroSD expansion card is nice
- Camera is okay. You won't be taking vacation shots with this but it'll do in a pinch

I would recommend this tablet first and foremost for the screen size and how fast it moves between web pages and apps. Video and audio are on par with other tablets. I'm already spoiled for the size in navigating the web with it and find it hard to go back to my Kindle Fire !

Great Search and Find Game

I'm a huge fan of search and find games and this is one of the best. It only takes a couple of hours to beat, but the searches are fun. The problem with some of the other search and find games (I'm looking at you 'Cate West: The Vanishing Files) is that the resolution on the DS is so low that you can't tell what and where certain objects are until you use a hint. Not so with this game. Everything is big enough and clear enough to almost never need a hint. And in between levels there are simple puzzles to solve to move onto the next level. I would recommend this game to other search and find fans along with 'Mystery P.I. and MillionHeir.'
What's great about it: Excellent for search and find fans
What's not so great: A little short

Does this have to soap opera look when watching cable? if so, does it have a way to disable that effect?
No, it doesn't. There's an option called 'Auto Motion' or 'True Motion' or something like that but it's off by default. You CAN turn it on if you like and get that soap opera look...

Does this model work well with an x box one s firmware issues?
There was recently an update for the Xbox One S that handled the problem that I think some 4k TV owners were having. I have the latest updates for my XBox One S and my TV and have had no issues whatsoever with lag or black screens. Been playing Hitman in HDR and it looks and performs fantastically.
