I compared these headphones to my Bose Quietcomfort 35 headphones. I could detect virtually no difference in sound quality when the ANC was activated in extremely loud, to whisper quiet environments.
However, there were two minor differences I noticed. The Sony headphones were slightly heavier than the Bose. The second item noted, no matter how loud or quiet the environment, the Sony's bluetooth telephone quality was superior to the Bose. Everyone I spoke to claim they could just hear my voice more clearly without distortion or slight static as heard on the Bose.
Last note, everyone could hear me using both bluetooth headphones during telephone calls. But my family and friends could hear the differences between the headphones. I could hear everyone without a problem on either headphone. There were no differences I could hear. I eventually chose the Bose because of it's lighter weight. I figured bluetooth telephone quality boils down to personal choice.

As long as you have a quality amplifier, you can make adjustments all day long on this sub-woofer. You can have your home vibrating with sound or lower the volume for just a small amount of base. I purchased two of these subwoofers, and so far, so good...
