Great sound and very quiet. On the plane you lose the annoying drone of the engines. And with one touch of a button you can hear the announcements if you need. No need to take them out of your ear.
I had the larger over ear Bose QC's which are nice but these fit in a small included pouch making them far easier to travel with.
