If you're a fan of Young's 'Harvest,' here's the album you've been waiting 40 years for. This is a very good album comprised of solely acoustic songs played through. Consider that Young just sat down, rolled the tape, and plowed through all of these songs in a (long) night. 70's Neil is always worth listening to and this is no exception.
Certainly one of the better movies I've seen in a while and a great teen movie. Not the full-on comedy I remember it being sold as, but it has its moments. A pleasure to watch.
Season six of Jeff Davis' supernatural drama, Teen Wolf, sees Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Lydia (Holland Roden) and the rest of the pack go back to Beacon Hills High to commence their second semester of senior high.
Certainly not as good as the earlier seasons, but what does anyone really expect from this show anymore? It's an MTV "original" aimed at the current MTV audience...do with that what you will.
This is easily one of the best movies of the last few years and Amy Adams, as usual, turns in a stellar performance. One day she'll get that Oscar. This is part exercise in storytelling and part sci-fi thriller. It shouldn't be missed.
This is a near return to form for both songwriters. There are some awfully sappy lyrics in these songs, but there are also some gems that would have fit nicely onto a Fleetwood Mac album. The first half of the record is pretty consistently great despite lines like "your jelly tastes the sweetest to me." 'Love Is Here To Stay' and 'Red Sun' are probably my favorite tracks here. Give it a listen and think of what could have been if Stevie Nicks had come by to record as well.
This is a far cry from the first FF album but it's nice that there's something different going on. The return to school for Pecknold shows in some of the lyrics and the sprawling songs that, at times, seem as if they're complicated just to be complicated. There are moments of real beauty on here in pretty much every song. Give it at least one listen.
This is one of those albums that everyone should own. A defining moment for U2 and a snapshot of the time. The album rings just as true today as it did when it was released in a lot of ways. The live disc, despite not having 'Bad' on it, is great. Don't skip this release. The two disc is well worth the price.
Any movie that has Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas, and Kathleen Turner is worth a look. This one just happens to be hysterical at times. Worth a watch or a purchase if it's on sale.
Don't hesitate with this one. As a standalone story it's great. As part of the Star Wars canon it's great. This is far more in line with the original trilogy than Episode VII could've hoped to be. Some of the CGI characters are creepy and Forest Whitaker is annoying, but this one great ride.
As a Bob Dylan fan I was bound to purchase this and enjoy it a little. I didn't expect it to be better than I thought it would be though. There's singing on this that makes you forget some of his more recent live shows (if you listen), but in the end this is something for fans and collectors. Will people see this and pick it up thinking it's going to be great? Probably not. But enjoy it for what it is, an artist putting a more unique spin on the American songbook than other classic rock artists of late. Some parts are dang near emotional.
How can I transfer my Vinyl Record collection to USB Flash Drive ?
As far as I know, there are only record players that have a USB drive built in for this purpose. There shouldn't be another way of accomplishing this that I am aware of. Hope this helps. Googling might help to find a player that does this.
