I set this up in a matter of seconds and it worked without issue. I use this for an air filter that is always left on due to a smoker in the house. Now I'm able to shut it off after it's had ample running time. The app is easy to use and hasn't failed me yet.

I read the instructions prior to installing it and followed them verbatim. About one week later I brushed my watch against a fixture at work; the exact reason I'd purchased it. I looked and was happy to see that my watch's crystal was unscratched. It wasn't until later that I realized that the InvisibleShield wasn't on my watch any longer. The contact wasn't firm or hard, but it had brushed away the shield like it were just a speck of dust. Unfortunately, BestBuy said they couldn't do anything because I didn't have the item to return. Of course not, if I still had it I wouldn't have been dissatisfied. I bought another brand and have had it on for about a month now without incident. Not a happy camper!

This HRM is an awesome addition to my routine to try to get healthy again. The OwnIndex feature performs checks that allows me to keep aware of my heart-health and set healthy heart rate limits. The zone and out of limits alarms are very audible, even for myself who has a hearing loss. The screen is easy to read in the daylight. However, in the evening the screen illuminator is far too dim to be able to see, especially while working out. Also, I have a large frame; my wrist measures over 9.375" in circumference. The wrist strap is too small to be comfortable. I have to wear it on the last hole in the strap, and even then it's a little tight. I will check with Polar to see if they have replacement straps for those of us that don't fit the standard size wrist strap and update.

What's great about it: Its ease of use, programmability, can perform heart-health checks.
What's not so great: illuminator isn't bright enough, wrist strap is too small for us with large frames.
