The reviews for this game are not great; however, as of the moment I bought the game in March 2015, most of the technical bugs that warranted the initial low review scores have been patched appropriately.
As a series veteran, I think the gameplay for this title is excellent. I very much enjoyed the murder mysteries included as missions. The game does little to advance the overarching Assassin's Creed storyline, but the game is fun.
