1) worked through an Otterbox Defender case - It does!
2) did not overheat the cell phone - No overheating!
3) connected with the cell phone first time, every time - It does!

I tried using a few different pens on my school supplied iPad Pro with the 12.9" screen. I am not an Apple fan. I did my best to choose another pen, tactile and electronic, because I thought the Apple Pencil was way over priced.
I was wrong. The Apple Pencil works first time every time. It synchs flawlessly. It's feel on the screen is excellent. It works with all of my applications. It still costs too much. :-)

I'm a middle school teacher. By definition, everything in the room is accessible to my students. They are growing. They are constantly moving. They have to touch everything. They are clumsy. They are very clumsy. They are extremely clumsy. I need a case that surrounds my iPad Pro with heavy duty protection. This Otter Defender Case does the job well. It has four pads that grip the surface of whatever it is placed on. It seems to be very water proof. When a kid dumped orange juice on it I took it to a gym shower and hosed it off with warm water. The iPad Pro is still pristine. My Apple Pencil fits in a slot inside the case. It is easily accessed from there and I have not lost track of the pencil.
I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Enjoy consistent results in the kitchen with this 1.2 cu. ft. Panasonic inverter microwave. Its sensor cooking feature automatically adjusts the time and power level to prevent overcooking, and the Turbo Defrost function provides quick, even defrosting.
