Up 3 is slim and comfortable to wear, but somewhat difficult to put on. It does a good job of tracking walking steps, but unless your riding on a bumpy surface it doesn't record biking. It records resting heart rate first thing in the morning, but is very difficult to put from active mode to sleep mode and back again. I leave my Up in active mode and enter sleep manually. The smart coach does tend to nag about your bad habits

Phone has 2 hand sets already programmed for use. I have 1 in the kitchen and 1 by the couch. The answering system is adequate for several short messages, but sound quality is poor, but understandable. The phone has the added advantage of blocking unwanted callers.
