Purchased this to make ice, which it does but as you go to empty it the made ice is half melted so when you put ice in freezer it just freezes everything in big block. Unit doesn't keep made ice cold enough to keep frozen.

Talked my husband into getting this instead of htc as he wanted. Was told by Best Buy these screens are almost un-breakable b/c of new glass. Got zagg glass just in case, had Best Buy install but it was still lifting on edges. Was told by Best Buy that is due to screen curve and would be ok. 6hrs later my husband bumped into his car with his phone in his pocket & cracked his screen. The zagg was in perfect condition! Zagg didn't do its job in my opinion, Best Buy did nothing for me even though they installed zagg incorrectly from what I found out later, and for a phone that is supposedly hard to break it is very flimsy. My husband had his htc evo 4glte for 3yrs with no zagg & no damage!

My mother is not tech savvy and has macular degeneration (going blind), looking for something easy to use and will "talk" to her. Any suggestions? Would this be a good fit?
Very simple to use once paired with phone. Actually has decent sized screen, depending on how bad her macular degeneration is she might be able to see it. It doesn't 'talk' but you can have vibrating alarms set up for certain things for her. Also side note, depending on how bad her macular degeneration is you could look into Anti-VEGF medication injection treatments for wet macular degeneration. Worked great for my grandma. Gave her sight back (was able to read books again) & worked for about 7-10yrs before it faded. I think you can only do it once or twice.

Does it work in daylight. Will bugs see light if its sunny?
It does work in day but not as well. It doesn't make zap noise nearly as much in day as night

does this come in any size other than M-XXL
No. One size fits all. It's really long elastic band wrapped around metal loop, not uncomfortable in any way. My sister in law is sz small & it fits her fine, I'm sz medium-large & I have a good foot or more of elastic I could loosen. Best way to describe it is like shoulder bra strap , the way you tighten/loosen it.
