I purchased this unit to go along with my new 4K TV. I gave it an average rating because the upscaling is not very good and the 4K is average. I do not see the difference between 1080P and 4K. You really have to look hard. So in my opinion purchase a higher end 1080P TV. I have a high end 1080P TV and it has a better picture than my mid-range 4K TV.
