After upgrading from my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, I found the transition smooth and easy. In addition to all the perks of the T5i, it handles surprisingly well for the price range. Easily my favorite feature would be the flip touch screen. In combination with the SLR Live View, any angle and shot can be made (and viewed) beautifully.
Another pleasant surprise would be the noise compression for the high ISO. The T5i has made leaps and bounds from the Digital Rebel XT in this specifically, and I can take quality images at 12800 ISO.
The balance of the T5i is well rounded, and easily the best value for the price. Definitely recommended for individuals looking to take the step up from intro point-and-shoot cameras, but not ready for professional grade SLRs.

macbook pro 2012
Will this work with a macbook pro 2012
I converted the drive to an external drive with use of a case and I haven't had any trouble using this for storage with a Mac.
