Great portability, not worth the price on sound.

Would have been my #1 BT speaker if sound quality was better. Sound gets distorted with bass or very busy tracks on all genre of music, even with volume not at max. Enjoy the feature of being able to pause/skip tracks on the device without having to access your phone. Phone calls had lower volume than music, but was able to be heard with good sound volume and clarity. My most favorite feature of the speaker is the compatibility to work with my GoPro mounts. This gave great versatility on portability allowing greater mounting options for the outdoors. Not worth the price on sound, (orig. $149) even at $99 giving it a 3 1/2 stars. If priced at $60 (would not pay more), would be well worth the price giving it a 5 star rating. Overall great look, and versatility with a bonus IP67 rating.

Surprised on how loud the sound is from such a small device. With a speaker this size, bass is not too great but presentable enough to not distort most of my music. Slight distortion with very busy tracks on max volume. With volume 1 to 2 notches down eliminates distortion and still very loud. Love how I can attach to a small carabiner and attach while working/sporting outside, knowing it can withstand the elements. Unlike most this size, I am able to lay it flat (provides a nice 360 sound) or stand it up. Very important because when pointed direct, the loudness radiates quite a distance that may be too loud for others not even near you. Volume on phone calls lower than music volume, but was able to be heard with full sound and clarity. Great added feature of being able to skip/pause tracks on the device without having to access your phone. Overall, great BT speaker for size, sound, and portability.
