I would never consider paying full price for this item. It's simply too expensive for what it does, but around $40 it's fair. What really makes a difference is that it gives 2.4 amps per device and up to 8.8 total. Since I only plug in 3-4 items at a time then the charge speed is very quick compared to car and laptop connections.
Plus, make sure to get the bundle package that comes with 7 cables, they're too short sometimes but you'll manage in a crunch.
