I've Microsoft Office products for a number of years dating back to the Office 97 version. I'd heard that Office 365 required a constant internet connection; however, that is not the case. It does require an internet connection to initially download and install, after that, it is usable offline, which is where 90% of my work occurs here in Afghanistan. After seeing that there was a vast difference in price between Office 2016 and Office 365, my wife went with the Office 365 and reminded me that after the initial purchase and two more renewals, it would still be cheaper than Office 2016 and by then I would most likely be looking for another laptop. So far I have not been disappointed with her decision.

Great anti-virus and malware software

This software package came with the recently purchased Dell Inspirion my wife got me. I had a previous HP Envy that crashed and burned due to a nasty virus. After several attempts, Webroot was able to completely clean the virus and the malware from the "newly" created external hard drive. Webroot is doing great at staying updated; albeit is does need a regular connection to the internet, which is difficult giving my current location.

Good replacement for previous HP Envy

My laptop crashed and burned while deployed to Afghanistan. My wife found this one as replacement for me. I has most of the features I need and use; however, it did not come with a disc drive nor an Ethernet port and it only has two USB ports. Other than missing some hardware items, the operating system and start up have been better than expected and it performs better than my HP Envy did.

My kids watched the Power Rangers when they were growing up many years ago. I watched along with them. This is a great redux on the old daytime cartoon. Geared towards an older audience of teens and not the pre-teens that mine were. Great action, but the story seemed to drag on the how this group of high schoolers became the Power Rangers. Still great to watch, especially in 4K.

Interesting twist on the game

Do I have to have wifi at home to use a smart tv? I do not have wifi at home but I want a smart tv so I can use the apps. Please help before I go buy
Either wifi or some kind of internet connection is needed to use the apps on a smart tv.

is this 110-240 Volts
Our model is only rated for 110v-120v. You will have to check the back of the television to see what it is rated for voltage wise.

We have a blu-ray player hooked up to our HDTV. If the VCR has the same connections, then it should work.
