Decent for the price

Bought the TV for my littlest ones to have a TV in their bedroom. The picture is doable but the sound is terrible. Its loud enough but there is no richness to it. I ended up connecting a spare PC speaker to the headphone jack and that completed the setup. I also connected it to my laptop and it was a decent monitor for day to day tasks. I wouldn't play games on it though.

sound quality - no bass at all

Hi,
The 24" Dynex is a very nice tv, but mine has NO bass at all in the sound. Setting the bass and treble to full on and full off, respectively, makes little/no difference. The tv I replaced had a noticeably different (better, more bass) sound quality and it was an inexpensive tv also. This one sounds like an old transistor radio.
Just trying to figure out if this is a problem or just the way it is for this inexpensive tv.

I connected a PC speaker to the one I purchased and that improved the sound. I also feel the built in speaker is very poor.
