My family and I just moved to Alaska a few months ago and about two months after getting here our 3 year old daughter got a nasty upper respiratory infection. I started looking for a humidifier for her room. I looked at several different stores and found this one. I read the reviews and decided I would buy this one. I paid for it online and picked it up from the store that same day. It was super easy! Right when we got home I set it up in her room. That was the first night in almost a week she didn't wake up coughing. I had three different humidifiers at our old house in Nebraska and hated all three of them. I absolutely love this one though! This one doesn't leak and keeps her room at the right level of humidity. It's super quiet and you can choose to have the light on or off. I choose to leave it off because it's too bright for her to sleep with. She's been completely better for a little over a month and I still have it running every night in her room to keep the air moist. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but the size worked out perfectly. I fill it up every night before she goes to sleep and within the 10 or 11 hours that she is asleep is goes through all the water. That's in the lower setting (you can pick from two settings). I like that it uses all the water over night so there is no standing water just sitting in there. It hasn't started to get stinky or anything and all I've done is rinse it out so far. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
