didn't work so well with Samsung blu-ray player

this remote might be great for most models but i have a samsung 3D blu-ray player and it didn't work so hot with it....there's no pop-up menu button and the up button also did not pull up the pop-up menu. there was also no button that would bring up the player's Tools menu...i ended up ordering the actual samsung remote for about $30 off ebay and now can't take this one back because i had it for too long...oh well. never had much luck with universal remotes, they're usually never 100%. as far as recommending it to a friend, i would probably recommend reacquiring the actual remote for a given player before i'd recommend a universal remote.

This projector is amazing, especially the 3D. It also makes DVD's look great, you can't even tell it's not a blu-ray. I don't even have a screen, just a white wall and this thing is fantastic. best investment i ever made in terms of home entertainment..
