Honestly, I don't see the big deal. Theres still no games on the Xbox or the ps4 that have actually made me feel like my money was well spent. I'd hold off longer than I did. Also, kinect is a waste of money; if I wanted to talk to my TV, I'd Skype my Mom.

This speaker set belts out fantastic sound, especially at its price range. The subwoofer gives actual bass notes, not just loud thumps and bumps. The rear speakers could be a touch louder, but for the price, these speakers are well worth my money.

Can I connect my mp3 player to the Samsung galaxy tab 4 to upload audio books?
no. you need to copy media to an SD card and insert that into the tab.

yes! this actually will also remote play to a newer vizio tv we have in the basement

i can remotely print to my HP laserjet from this tablet, so you should be fine.

Does it have an IR blaster connections n if it blocks the sensor of the tv remote? My panasonic sound bar has one

it doesnt. if your tv can control the soundbar itself, then you are good. this has a very small IR receiver on the left, next to the volume indicator which, frankly, sucks. you need a clear, straight line for it to work. my tv can control it with an IR passthrough, so i just use that.

What is the combine total wattage for these speakers?
I've connected mine to a killowatt, and the max I've seen on the sub is 30w, and 15w for the sound bar.

how many watts is the sub?
I connected mine to a killowatt meter, and at 50%, the sub only uses about 20 watts. The sound output is actually quite impressive.

Additional Hookups in addtion to TV.
I have a DVD player and a Cable DVR that I want to hookup to this sound bar. It seems the input are limited. How does the Cable DVR and DVD hookup to allow the sound bar to project the sound ? I'm not getting the concept. Do all components need to be hooked to the bar ? Right now everything it hooked to TV via HDMI and I just change the input on the TV.
I'm an older gent, and I appreciate any info you can provide. Not a real tech person. Thanks in advance...

Since everything is hooked into the TV, use the TVs audio out and connect those to the sound bar input. I use a similar setup with my ps3 and xbox. They connect to the TV by HDMI, and then I use the TVs optical out to the sound bar. Also, in case you didn't know, you select which of the inputs on the sound bar you want to use. You can only have one input selected at a time.
