Interesting design, good ANC

The Sony WI-SP600N headphones were given the well known "sports" designation because they are designed for an active lifestyle. This being said, these are wonderful wireless headphones. They are lightweight, yet produce clear sound and good bass. The design IMHO is not attractive. This is probably due to the active noise canceling. Inside the box, you get paperwork/warranty and different sized tips. With these types of headphones, i always have issues keeping them in the ear and getting a tight seal. My preference has been over the ear headphones. Sony seems to have upped their game with newer line of headphones. The WI-SP600n are sure to please.

The Apple Series 3 Watch Nike Edition is amazing!! I love this watch!! So much better than the Fitbit Blaze or any fitbit. Also 100x much better than the Android watches, i.e., Fossil. Very responsive display, clean and crisp lines, the MIC picks up and mostly accurate, and the connection to the iPhone is seamless. The Nike version adds additional features for fitness. You can make/receive calls, send texts, receive notifications, etc. Overall this is a beauty!

The Griffin Survivor Tactical Cover for Apple Watch is definitely nicely made and sturdy. Also fits the series 3 nicely and had no issues with the display. However, this adds bulk, which is not a huge issue. The problem is that the Apple Watch becomes un-attractive and looks like a toy. Decided to remove and return this cover.

The JBL Under Armour (UA) Sport Wireless Flex Headphone is the result of a good partnership between two powerhouses. Either that or just good marketing! The UA headphones are similar to the LG Tone with better quality and better sound. They feature magnetic earbuds attached to a flexible headband. They are designed for physical activity, such as running, cycling, etc. The neckband has flex zones that help the band say in place. They also feature a safety light on the rear of the neck band. This is great for night walk or ride. The sound is OK, nothing spectacular but better than other neck band type of headphones that I have tried. The bass is decent but sound is slightly muddy. I gave these a higher rating based on features, such as the "runsafe" light and fast charging capability. Overall these are a good buy!

So the Turtle Beach Stream MIC is not a top dollar MIC but it does the trick. I am not a gamer but maybe I can rise to super stardom by singing! Erm...yeah bring on the auto-tune. This is a basic condenser mic but pretty sensitive. The mic will pick up wind and other ambient sound so be careful when recording. Its great for video chat, gaming, and misc fun. Upgrade the firmware for optimal use. The ability to use this MIC with gaming systems, PC, and MAC is awesome! It has a few built in EQ modes, and Turtle Beach also offers free downloadable software for even more EQ choices and balancing. While this is an entry level Mic, it far exceeds any other comparable mics in the same pricing category, and it’s versatility and compatibility with multiple platforms. Great fun product!!

Super boost, cut the cord...finally!!

I had been reluctant to purchase an antenna for over the air networks. However, I have had the opportunity to try Mohu indoor antennae with decent success. Surprisingly, these things get better. Here comes the Mohu Sail with whopping 75 mile range. The difference here that this is an outdoor or attic antenna. Its quite a bit bigger than the indoor units and heavier. The signal strength is amazing! I received about 50 channels, including Canadian stations just by quickly placing the antenna in the attic. i am not handy and would need a professional to install this outdoors. Installing the antenna from a bedroom TV to attic is the best that I can do. There are of course factors such as positioning and weather. Clarity was very good on standard local channels and Canadian stations located nearby. Mohu is a quality American manufacturer/designer of the antennae. Technical support is great. if you still have cable, this could be a good reason to cut the cord!

The SONY SRS XB41 is a powerhouse! Its not overly big but large enough to produce amazing sound. Its a beast of a speaker! The speaker sits on top of the Sony Bluetooth speaker line up. The speaker once again has the lights, great for a party environment! However, what is most important is the sound. Most BT speakers sound just about the same, chunky and un-inspiring. The Sony has good bass, with a feature called "Live Sound" You can toggle this feature on and off. Live sound is OK, add some echo and not as clear as normal sound. However, you can connect up 100 speaker to create a serious party. Sony indicates that the XB41 has 24 hours battery life with the lights disabled. I would imagine that battery life is decent with the lights turned on. The speaker looks good with any room decor. Overall I like the updated Sony lineup of bluetooth speakers.

At the price point for which the Epson EX3260 is placed, makes this a great value! I use Epson at work and have always been happy. The EX3260 out of the box is bright, even in a room with lights on. The colors are vivid and the display is crisp. The projector is multi-media, however the built-in speaker is somewhat weak. The EX3260 rivals the larger Epson projector that I use at work. Perfect for home, SMB's, churches, or group meetings.

Personal safety and security, this is what the Simplisafe Protect home security solution provides. The keys to remember with this solution are NO CON-tracts, no hidden fees, and no other catches. You get piece of mind knowing that your family is protected. In the box is a cylindrical shaped base station (looks like a speaker). 4 entry sensors, a motion detector, and keypad. The system was very easy to setup, no wires and no tools required. The first step is to plug in the base station, which serves as the brains of the system. It's large, but unlike the core components of most other DIY kits, you won't need to plug it into your router, so you'll have some flexibility about where to stash it. Once the base station has power, the menu will show you how to set up each of the sensors in your kit. For each one, you'll simply need to pull a tab to activate the batteries, then choose a wall on which to stick it. As you set your sensors up, the menu will provide helpful pointers on placing them in the right spots. When you're done, you'll be able to customize your settings right on your computer -- afterward, you'll plug the USB into a port on the top of your base station to automatically transfer your settings into the system within seconds. However, even when an attempt is made to break the keypad, the base station does its thing. If you're worried about false alarms, rest assured that SimpliSafe is flexible. You can program the system to delay the alarm for up to 250 seconds in the event that one of the sensors is triggered, giving you plenty of time to punch in your code or pull out your keychain remote before any sirens go off or any dispatchers are notified. You can also customize which sensors work on a delay and which don't. Say you want a delay when someone comes in the front door, but an instant alarm if the basement window gets opened -- SimpliSafe will let you protect your home the way you want. There are many competitors in the DIY security market, however Simplisafe is one that provides actual dispatch service.
It's not perfect, I would like a solution with cameras or the ability to add 3rd party cameras. i would like to use screws instead of 2 sided tape to secure the keypad and sensors. However, those are minor concerns. Overall this is a cost effective home security solution.
