Got this for my wife so she can continuously play Pokémon on her phone. Pokémon is a real battery killer and this little device keeps her going. Absolute must for vacations, trips, or walks in the park.

OK, so the movie is not as good as the original Independence Day, but it did a good job of following up on the original plot even without Will Smith at the helm. This action sci fi was awesome in 4K UHD HDR. Snapped it up for $17.99 before Black Friday.

Saw this at the theater on IMAX. Was just as great on my 4K up scaling Blu-ray player and 4K TV with Klipsch 5.1 surround. They are still providing great action flicks under the Star Trek banner.
Experience stunning pictures and vivid colors on this 65-inch LG OLED 4K smart TV with HDR. Since the pixels can be individually controlled, the blacks appear deeper and the colors more vibrant. This LG OLED 4K smart TV uses webOS 3.0 to let you easily connect to streaming services and mobile apps.

Great contrast, but needs professional calibration

Verified Purchase:Yes
Been waiting on OLED's to drop in price for a long time. Finally, below the $3k mark I purchased. So after one month's ownership here's what I think so far. The good: Contrast is awesome, so much so, I have to turn it down to get subtle shades of greys on dark suits and uniforms. Off angle viewing is superb, no loss of color or contrast for the people sitting on the side of my living room...FINALLY! The Web OS3 is pretty nice, once you figure it out. I easily set up wireless connection and added my Netflix and Amazon profiles. And, played UHD 4K content from Amazon without a hitch. Colors pop in HDR, but they are far from true colors. With a thousand possible settings you can go online, get some published settings and tweak the gamma, white and color settings available in each mode. I've only changed those in the "Standard Dark Room" settings. Blacks are so black I had to turn up some of the white levels. Now for the not so good: So, this TV definitely needs a professional calibration as one Best Buy employee has indicated on this site. In addition, other issues remain. Artifacts will develop during dark scenes either in Blu-ray or on DVR. This TV has a pronounced rainbow effect (typical for LCDs) that I haven't seen since my 2004 Mits DLP HD TV. And the rainbows show up in sky views and menus especially. I also found (like my old Mits) there is a little Red push in color without changing settings. The LG OLED 4K UHD does a poor job of displaying 480p and 1080i based on my Direct TV DVR. Especially poor when news channels show their story clips in Standard Def. Huge artifacts and broken lines show up even on still pictures on these news channels. And, colors change dramatically based on the source even on a single channel, i.e. from the HD show to the commercial to the news caster set. There's no way to keep up. So, it took a while to find a compromise, but it will never be able to provide a good picture for SD no matter what the source (to include and especially over the air SD TV channels). You have to give the OLED the best source possible to begin with. And, finally, that motion flow capability is subpar as indicated by other reviews here and online. I've turned it off where I can, but I leave a low level amount on for the Sports broadcasts and my 4K Blu-ray player in HDR. Low level motion flow still will aggravate the videophile when they see shadow ripples around fast moving objects. Overall, I'm not extremely impressed as I thought I would be, hence I'm giving this a 3 out of 5. I would not recommend purchase just yet, but, I'm not returning the TV either. That awesome contrast and off angle viewing is worth it to me, although I expected a better video engine/processor at this price range. I still might get a professional calibration done and spend the next few months tweaking all the modes. I'll post back with updates every few months.
