Best Buy has one of the best warrantees on manger ticket items. I’ve always bought the geek squad warranty but I very rarely needed to use the warranty. This time I exchanged my Ninebot pro for a new one with no problems.

Best Cables Ever

I have been in sound and computers for decades & these are the best cables I have ever come across. Monster is just $$ compared to AudioQuest. A blue shirt recommended the AudioQuest cables, so I did my due diligence & read up on them at their website, @ Audioquest.com. After reading how they make the cables I was doubtful, but after thinking about the mechanics it made sense. I also purchased several HDMI cable's for my new 4K TV & you can tell the difference between regular cables and AudioQuest. I had good optical & HDMI cable's, even a monster cable, when I bought my TV, but when I installed the AudioQuest cables my TV & sound came alive.

I love my Sony 4K 65"

My Sony 4K TV is great. I've had my Sony for about a year now & the TV is going strong. You can really tell the difference between regular TV and 4K TV. Netflix or any of the other apps you can get for the TV from Google Play runs great. I always suggest to people to hardwire their Internet connection, it runs faster. My previous TV was a Sony and it's still working good to this day, it was just outdated. The only difference is getting used to using the remote, it's like using the mouse on a laptop, it gives you access to numerous options without all the stupid buttons. Not only my previous experience was Sony, I like the fact that it pairs with my PlayStation & turns on, or turn to that HDMI input, when I turn on the PlayStation. The only minor complaint I have is pairing the TV with my cable box. I had to use the infrared sensors (IR), that comes with it to control the cable & my older 5.1 Surround Sound stereo. Sometimes the IR for the cable box goes haywire and I have to restart the TV to get it working properly. It only takes two min. to restart. I'm hoping they have an update that I'll fix it. That is the only small complaint I have, otherwise the TV is working great and I'm in enjoying it immensely. FYI I mounted my TV on the stands, it has 2 inner & 2 outer stand mounts, so you can fit it on a smaller counter.

What is the refresh rate? Is it 60hz? 120hz? 240hz?

120 MHz, but it has a motion program that enhances the TV.

Digital Audio Out Capability

I just purchased my new Sony 65" 900. In order to listen to surround sound for Netflix, etc., I have a digital optical cable connected between the tv and my surround sound system. However, the surround sound system is only playing 2 channel stereo vs. 5-channel surround. I've tried different shows and also used different services like Amazon Video and Hulu. Any suggestions?

You need to make sure your HDMI cable has ethernet or sound through it. If you're looking for a good optical go to Best Buy and get Audioquest cable. I would also suggest the same brand for HDMI, they have several different qualities of cables.

Stand Install

Just purchased the 65 inch 900C. We are not wall mounting it and the stand at the far end doEsnt fit our furniture. What equipment is needed to install the stand in the middle?

All you need is the stands itself and they slide into the TV. I believe you have to take out the screws before you can insert the stands
