Excellent movie. Great performances by Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine and Ben Cross. Supporting cast is also verty good. Not sure who to root for in this movie, the good guys or the bad guys. A sign that they connect to the viewer in different ways. Highly recommended.
I was a little skeptical about this movie but it really is good, The performances are great. Michael Keaton proves once again he can take on a comic book role be it the villian in this movie. Highly recommended,
Get it. Get it. Get it. You wont be disappointed. The movie is a must see over and over to pick up on all that is going on. A worthy sequel to A New Hope. The story ties in almost flawlessly.
What can you say? Maybe one of the best Star Wars films so far! Ties in nicely with the 2nd trilogy (beginning with A New Hope). "Many Bothan spies died getting these plans to us" was said in A New Hope. Rogue One gives a great story to those spies, sad as they were doomed from the start, but nonetheless essential to the continuity of the Star Wars story. I must see and a must have in any Star Wares collection. The Steel Book Case edition is terrific as are most of Best Buy's Steel Book editions.
One might think this movie is stupid, goofy, and perpsterous. It is but that is the beauty of it. It worked well on so many levels and still holds up today. A classic in the "let's destroy the earth" type of movies.
As sequels go this isn't the worst I have ever seen. It was enjoyable to watch and had some funny moments. Maybe a bit perposterous at times but then the first movie had those moments as well. If it had Will Smith back then it might have been alot differnet. They want to franchise this movie but I'm not sure about the younger cast and if they have longevity. There was a good chemistry among the actors in the first movie. They try to recapture some of that here but at times it feels a little off or forced. But if you loved Independence Day then you have to see IDR to see where the story has come too.
This release brings together all 22 episodes from the two seasons of Star Trek: The Animated Series, which originally ran between 1973-1974 on NBC. Featuring the voicework of William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, and George Takei, show creator Gene Roddenberry continues the story from the original 1960's series, following the adventures of the Enterprise crew in beautiful animation. Bonus features in this release include episode commentary and a storyboard gallery.
I watched this series as a kid each Saturday morning. It's great to be able to have this collection and watch it again and share it with my kids. Yes some of it was out there, or just didn't quite fit the original Star Trek series but it was close enough back then if you were hooked on the original series. A must for any Trek fan.

Worth a watch if you liked the first two Taken movies. Plot is a little predictable by now. Still good action sequences conpared to some action genre movies.

I saw this in the store and had to get it. I haven't bought any of the original series over the years. Picked up season 3 as well as 1 and 2. THe new CGI is both amazing and a little different as I remember most of the series growing up in my childhood. Haven't actually gotten to watching season 3 yet, I'm half way through season 2. But hey, Star Trek is the best. From Spock's beard to Spock's brain ... yes shameless Prog plug, ... but not as we know it.

Blackberry Smoke is by far the best southern rock band on the scene. I saw them a few years ago opening for Zac Brown and I had not heard of them at that point. They sounded great in concert and were excellent muscians. Lead singer Charlie Star is a star vocalist. I bought both cd's available at that concert, Little Piece of Dixie and The Whipporwill. Both excellent cd's in their own right. But with Holding all the Roses they have reached a new high. Not all bands or artists can keep up a pace like this. I hope they keep on holding up in the years to come. Anyone into the likes of any of the southern rock bands of the 70's id missing out if they don't own this cd ot any of their others.
