This gives us a lot more speed than our old router. However, because of the lack of instructions on use we almost returned it. We researched on line how to get the best use if this unit. If you buy this unit place the rear side (where the antennas are) forward as if it were the front ( if you put it in another room point the back towards the door) and points the antennas about a 45 degree angle not straight up. Now it works great throughout our whole house. Customer support only wanted to sell us an add on product and was no help on how to place the unit.

75 MILES FROM THE NEAREST BEST BUY?
A few weeks ago I bought a 46" Sony Bravia 3D tv, Sony Internet TV & Blueray player and a wireless modem from Best Buy. I'm trying to hook it into my DiecTV DVR, Hitachi VCR, Magnovox DVD and a Bose surround sound. I've got the DirecTV , the TV, Internet Tv and the VCR operating but don't know where/how to connect the DVD and the BOSE. I was told Geek Squad won't come this FAR. If I bring all the manuals from ALL the equipment in to a Best Buy store is there someone there that could draw me a diagram on how to get everything working? And would there be a fee? HELP?
Try calling the manufacturer of the TV and ask for an engineer who is fully knowledgeable with the functions of the TV. We had an issue connection our VCR and no one at Best Buy could figure it out and the normal customer service rep for the TV could help. We asked for an engineer to call us and he did. He walked us through it all and it worked. What we learned is that there are internal settings that need to be set.
