Decent compact car charger

This is a decent, fairly standard, 2 port USB car charger. It's nice and small so it doesn't stick out of the 12V socket very much and it has a subtle blue light which isn't overwhelming. The charge rate is good - it is able to charge my Moto Z Force while using navigation, albeit at a fairly slow rate. My biggest complaint is that this says "Output: 3.4A" but doesn't say how those 3.4 Amps are distributed between the ports. Is one 2.1A and the other 1.3A? Do they equally split it at 1.7A each? Who knows... but I'd guess the latter, since my other 2.1A charger seems to charge my phone slightly faster than this one.
So overall this is fairly average. Nothing particularly great, and nothing particularly bad. I got it during a promo so to me it was worth the price I paid.

Good cable clips

These are great cable clips. They're way smaller than I expected, but it was my fault I didn't notice "mini" in the title. They work perfectly for a cell phone charging cord, or similar sized cords. Anything much bigger though would probably not fit.

Added battery on the fly

This is probably the smartest way to get additional battery life on the go that any smartphone/accessory company has come up with so far. Some phones have user-changeable batteries, which is only so useful in a pinch because you have to power down the phone, pop out the dead battery, pop in the charged one, then turn the phone back on again. Portable "charging banks" are slightly better, because you neither have to power down your phone nor find a wall outlet to charge up, but in the end you're still tethered by a wire of some kind to the power bank which is awkward at best if you're moving around.
Then there's this... the Moto Mod implementation of the power bank. Getting low on battery? Grab one of these, it magnetically attaches to the back of any Moto Z family phone, and boom, you get an extra 2220 mAh of battery. Granted, this is not as much capacity as most portable power banks offer (those can be as high as 10,000 mAh or more) but it's certainly enough to give the phone a good amount of additional battery life. Also, this looks very nice on my wife's white/gold Moto Z.
To address a complaint I've seen around the internet: "this charges the phone slowly". Yes, that is more or less correct, as it has a max output of 1A. However, this is not really an issue. What I have found is that if you're actively using the phone with this attached, it seems to mostly draw battery from the power pack rather than the phone's battery. If the drain isn't high enough, or if the phone is mostly idle, it will charge up the phone's battery at a moderate pace (wayyy slower than the Turbo wall charger, but again, fast enough for most uses). Mine has even kept pace and very slowly increased my phone's battery while using navigation and playing an audio book at the same time. This to me is perfectly acceptable. If they pushed more current out of the power pack, all of the extra heat generated would reduce the battery life and longevity of both batteries, so I am 100% happy with the speed they chose.
One last note: buy the wireless charging one (the wireless charging version of this one, or the Incipio or Tumi ones). They are only $10 more for the wireless charging, and it makes this way more convenient. I can completely drain one of these on my phone, then just pop it on the wireless charger while I keep using my phone. The non-wireless charging ones have to be charged while connected to the phone, and the phone to the wall charger. It's less convenient, but still works out okay... We have one of these and one of the wireless charging Incipio ones, and I wish I had just forked over the extra $10 for the wireless charging Kate Spade one.
I give this 4 stars. Good quality, amazing portability, looks great. For the features, I think this is quite a bit overpriced. I was able to get mine partially on sale and partially with a gift card, so it wan't too bad, but it would be hard to justify the list price under most circumstances. So 4 stars overall.

Great sound for such a small package

When I want to listen to some music and I'm not near my regular speakers, I pop off my Moto Z Force's Style Mod backplate and snap on the JBL SoundBoost Moto Mod, and just like that, I have much better sound. Full disclosure, I'm a slight margin shy of being an Audiophile, so please understand that the JBL speakers are pretty bad quality for speakers in general, but excellent for being as small as they are and attached directly to a phone. For the extreme portability I find them fully acceptable.
They have much better bass and overall clarity than the built in phone speaker, though I find them to be slightly tinny and accentuate the highs a little too much. They also go much, much louder and maintain quality at high volumes without clipping or distortion. These sound significantly better than an older portable stereo speaker I have, and this is so much more portable and integrates directly into the phone - no wires or wasted energy using Bluetooth.
The excellent design of this also includes a built in battery so it doesn't kill your phone super quickly, yet the phone can also power the speakers once the built in battery does die. The speaker's battery can be charged while the phone is charging if it is attached, or it can be charged separately via a USB Type-C charger (e.g. the one that comes with any Moto Z). Also the integrated kickstand is handy and puts the phone at a good angle for watching something or just for keeping the speaker off the table without having to put your phone screen-down.
So overall this is an excellent addition to a Moto Z or Moto Z Force. The sound quality isn't remotely close to audiophile grade, but nobody expects a speaker this small to be... Therefore, taking everything into perspective, I give this 5 stars.

Call friends, get online and play apps with this Moto Z Force Droid smartphone. It’s designed around Moto Mods, interchangeable backs that snap onto your smartphone, instantly transforming it into a movie projector, boombox, battery powerhouse, and more. A capacitive touch screen and 16 million colors ensure a brilliant display that reacts smoothly, and Corning Gorilla Glass protects against shattering or scrapes when the phone is dropped. You can use this Moto Z Force Droid smartphone with its Android Marshmallow operating system to run Google apps.

Great phone, excellent modular implementation

This phone is amazing. The battery life is incredible, the screen is superb (much brighter and more vibrant than my old DROID Turbo), the phone is quick and responsive, and overall I am hard pressed to find any major flaws with it (okay, the fingerprint scanner is ever-so-slightly crooked, but I can live with that).
By the way, I love the fingerprint scanner! Motorola is a bit late to the game here, but they finally added it and it works perfectly so far. One of those things that makes you wonder how you ever got by in life without it...
One thing I had been hesitant about when initially looking at the Moto Z and Z Force is how big the chin is. Professional reviews I read gave it a pretty hard time for this, but I find that I actually like it. Yes, it makes the phone quite tall, but it also gives me a place I can grab the phone without touching the screen and I think it makes the back/home/cards buttons easier to reach with my thumb when holding the phone normally.
My wife got the regular Moto Z, and in comparison, hers is much sleeker and more slender than the Force. It's a beautiful and impressively thin phone. It feels better in the hand too, because it's just less bulky. However, for me personally I would not trade the bigger battery and shatterproof screen for that.
A caution to anyone considering this phone - it has Motorola's 2nd generation "Shattershield" shatterproof display. The first version was on the DROID Turbo 2 and you could buy replacements for the outermost layer of the screen, which scratches much easier than Gorilla Glass. It was essentially a built in screen protector. So far I haven't seen any confirmation or availability of replaceable outer screen layers for this one so I put a tempered glass screen protector on it for now, in case they don't end up selling replacements. As a brief side-note, the tempered glass also feels a bit better/smoother than the plastic-feeling shatterproof screen so I'm happy doing that.
Moto Mods. Awesome. Finally. Do you really need them? No, nobody NEEDS Moto Mods. Are they an incredible innovation? Yes. And well-executed too. In my opinion the Mods themselves are priced significantly too high to really take off in the market, but hopefully if the concept doesn't completely die off in 6 months it will become something of a standard and drive accessory competition. Anyway, aside from price, the Mods are quick to change, instantly integrate with the phone, and just work! The Moto Z and Z Force come with a "Style Mod" in the box, which is basically just a nice looking wood backplate (the black Z comes with a dark wood and the white one comes with an oddly chosen grayish wood back which doesn't match the phone whatsoever). When I want to listen to some music and I'm not near my regular speakers, I pop off the backplate and snap on the JBL Soundboost Moto Mod and just like that, I have much better sound. Full disclosure, I'm a slight margin shy of being an Audiophile, so please understand that the JBL speakers are pretty bad quality for speakers in general, but excellent for being as small as they are and attached directly to a phone. For the extreme portability I find them fully acceptable. In the near future I plan to purchase one of the battery Mods for those rare times when the 3500mAh built in battery is just not enough (and for my wife to use since her Moto Z battery is quite a lot smaller). I will not buy the projector, because $300 is absurd, and I can only think of very few circumstances where that would actually be useful. I hear it works pretty well though, so, if you frequently need to present/project something then maybe it is worth it for you. I also can't wait to see what other Mods they come up with (rumors have it there will be more Mods announced in the next few weeks).
Other thoughts:
- As usual, Verizon adds plenty of bloatware to all their phones including this one, although I think it was less than on my DROID Turbo. I usually just go through and disable and uninstall most of the Verizon apps and any other strange apps that come out of the box (a couple of uninstallable games and a few other things).
- Android is nearly stock. I love this about Moto phones. I can't stand TouchWiz or Sense or whatever other bizarre nonsense phone manufacturers are obsessed with cluttering up phones with.
- The few things Moto does change or add I generally find very useful and well designed.
I don't know if this is the "best" Android phone available or not, I'm sure that's largely opinion based, but I will say that it is fantastic and is certainly the most interesting phone on the market with essentially limitless possibilities for Moto Mods.
If you have a legitimate question please comment on my review and I'll do my best to answer!

Is this the Incipio battery that has wireless charging?

Yes, even though BestBuy doesn't label wireless anywhere...
