This was my first shutter release and I have to say that it worked great with my Canon Rebel XTi. I find it very helpful when you don't want to use the camera's timer. I found this remote useful because when I shoot HDR photos or (most recently) hyperlapse images not having to press the shutter was very helpful.
The other feature I found helpful for me was the Hold button on the release and I found it helpful when used in Bulb mode.
I still see myself using this when I upgrade my camera in the distant future.

This product is great. I tested it out with my bluetooth enabled, devices such as my laptop, iPhone 5s, 4s as well as my Samsung Tablet and it works well.. Also I was rather surprised on the distance that bluetooth was able to reach. I stepped out to another part of my house and asked my parents if they can see me type and they were able to. It was estimated to be around a 50 foot distance and it worked well.
This keyboard is great when I want to type lengthy texts compared to using the touch keyboard on my devices.

Did not work with EOS Rebel XTi camera

I have a Canon EOS Rebel XTi camera and it did not work with this particular model. The package mentioned that it could be used with EF and EF-S lenses however it didn't seem to work in my situation.
To test the tubes, I used my Canon 50mm 1.8 II lens and switched the focus to manual. I cleaned both the front and read of the lens prior to use. When I used the focus ring and moved the camera closer the object, I was unable to focus on the object The extension tube acted as if there was a film on my lens.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel XTi and these did not work for this model. The camera was unable to focus with these tubes I was unable to use the focus ring on manual and the lens did not focus when on Auto. The lens I used for these tubes was my Canon 50mm 1.8 II lens.
The package and reviews were poorly noted since it did not say which cameras were compatible and looking on DLC's page I sent a message and I had no response on which cameras they were compatable with.

I was searching for some mics and I was looking at just regular corded mics, then I decided to do a search for GoPro mics and the Polar Pro mic popped up and without even opening the package I ordered to corded mic, I purchased this product.
For a small mic, you can tell the difference compared to just having the GoPro. I think this is a good product for those looking to extend the sound quality of their GoPro.

External microphone for Hitachi camcorder
Need a wired external mic I can put on my camcorder so i have audio with the visual I'll be recording. Also need a long wire for it.
Hi Dennis, this works well. If you go to Radio Shack I would recommend getting their 16' or 20' Headphone/Computer Speaker Extension cord. I haven't used a camcorder though the connections should work. Bring your camcorder to Radio Shack. In AZ they opened up the cord so I can see if it would work out for me. It saves you money from not having to purchase an adapter if you connect the Polor Pro mic if you went with a 3 or 6' cable.
