I am a photographer who likes to have very high quality photos from events and trips. I like to bring my DSLR with me on trips but it's difficult to take photos of my wife and I if there is nobody around to take it. It is too bothersome to bring a tripod with me everywhere I go and set it up everytime. This is the reason I purchased the GoPro.
GOOD:
Very lightweight and durable. Easy to use after reading the manual. Easily connects to my Galaxy S4 phone via Wifi. Video quality is very good and acceptable.

BAD:
- It may be due to me being a photographer, but to me, the quality of the still photos are average. The JPGs that are processed aren't very clear when zooming in.
- There is a significant lag when using your cell phone to control the GoPro. The preview you see on your phone is several secondsbehind.
- Since the cell phone is what I used to control the GoPro, I did not touch the wifi remote at all. In other words, it's a waste of $ for me. I would prefer to have it as an optional accessory and dropping the total cost for the GoPro.

I replaced my Toshiba HD with this 256gb SSD for the sole purpose of speeding up my computer overall. Installation was easy, build seemed strong. After cloning my HD to the SSD and installing it, my computer ran perfectly without a problem. It just started MUCH faster and ran much faster.
Great bargain for this price. I know it's not the top of the line SSD, but if you want top of the line, you better expect to pay TONS more. This SSD satisfied its purpose and I am happy.

Great for watching movies on yourHDTV

SETUP: very easy. Simply plug into an HDMI port in your TV and plug in the power, which can go into an outlet or an available USB slot if your TV has one (mine does). You download a program on your computer or an app on your phone, setup is very straightforward and not difficult at all, even for a non-tech savvy person.
PERFORMANCE: great with few hiccups. One problem I had was that the strength was very weak when using it on my TV downstairs when my router was upstairs. I was not using the HDMI extension cord at this time (which comes with the product). I was thinking that the HDTV was acting as a giant reflector and blocking my router's signal. So I attached the extension, and it works better now, much better! Product is silent and makes no noise. It does get a bit warm when you feel it though after watching a movie.
When streaming Netflix, there are times when it has to pause and load again. When watching Netflix through my Xbox, it did not do that, only on the chromecast.
I am so happy with this product, I bought 2 more (for upstairs, downstairs, and my room for 3 total). They never interfere with each other.
APPS: only downfall, which will probably improve, is the lack of apps able to utilize chromecast. I use Netflix for my streaming, and I also use Avia to stream videos from my phone. Avia is a free, very basic media player app for phones. However, you pay $2.99 and it allows you to connect to your chromecast. This works fairly well to stream videos from my phone. However, it does not recognize certain videos with certain decoding methods. Attempting to cast it results in chromecast displaying something like, "this file is incompatible". However, it plays fine on the phone, it's only when you cast it to your TV. Fix that, and It'll be 5 stars all around.

I bought this ad my first ssd since my original hdd started failing. This drive was very simple to install, basically plug and play. It works perfectly and my computer boots up incredibly fast. I love it.
Of course, a cost of an ssd will be much higher than a regular hdd, so don't expect it to be cheap

Great Tablet for Any User

As usual, Apple creates great products which look amazing. I love this ipad. It runs fast, displays photos beautifully with its retina display, and is nice and thin.
One problem is that you NEED a case for it. The smooth back surface and thin design make the ipad very difficult to hold securely in your hands as it easily slips out of your grip. A case is needed both for grip and protection. My nephew dropped his ipod once from about 2 feet high which dented the corners and cracked the screen.
Another problem is apple's incompatibility with Flash videos online. For example, going on FB and attempting to view videos on there results in a pop up which says you need to have Flash installed.
Windows tablets do not have this problem and in my future purchase, I will get a windows tablet instead of apple. Apple is just popular because of Apple's good advertising.

how many pics will a 1tb hard drive hold?
That all depends highly on the file size of your pictures. They can range from huge RAW files from DSLR cameras to very tiny images from a small point-n-shoot compact camera. A fairly high resolution JPG file can be an average of 2mb. If a 1TB drive is completely empty, and assuming you can actually store 1tb of data on it (usually it's less than the total drive), you can save 500,000 photos that are 2mb each.
