Don't buy for Windows 7

There is no drivers disk in the package and the instructions direct you to the Broadcom website, but they have pulled the Win7 drivers! There are only drivers available for Windows XP, 8, 8.1, and 10.

I was looking for a tabletop oven to use in place of my big oven for smaller meals, and bought this one just because it was the only one that BB had that looked like it might suffice;they did not have the one that I was wanting (the smaller Breville oven). When I got it home I realized that it did not have a preheat function (you just have to wait and hope); actually most cheaper toaster ovens are the same as this one. It also got extremely hot on the outside surfaces. Anyway I took it back unused and bought the Breville at another store, and boy the difference is night and day! If you want a serious oven that actually cooks like the big boys don't waste your time with anything less. We have had the Breville for a few weeks now and don't know how we ever got along without it! Yes it costs more money but believe me, you will be glad that you spent the extra.
What's great about it: Nothing for my needs
What's not so great: No preheat, gets very hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife loves it!

I bought this from my local BB for my wife for Christmas. I installed it under a wall cabinet out of the way where it is easily accessible; installation was easy with the included template. We haven't used the MP3 function yet so I can't comment on that, but the radio and cd work quite well and it is easy to operate. This is by far the best under cabinet cd/radio combinations that I found. A little pricey but well worth it to see my wife so pleased.
What's great about it: Compact, well built, good sound, easy to operate
What's not so great: Price seems a little high
I would recommend this to a friend!

In a totally different league

I was looking for a tabletop oven to use instead of my big oven for small jobs, but everything else that I found was a toy compared to the Breville. This thing is like a real oven, not some cheap toaster. You select the function (bake, broil, etc) and everything else is digital. It turns on just the elements that are needed for that function, and starts to preheat. When the preheat is done, it dings and starts the countdown timer. Nothing else that I found had this preheat signal feature; you just have to guess when the preheat is finished and hope that the oven is hot enough. That feature alone is worth the price for me. Everything I have baked in it so far has been perfect; it bakes small fish filets better than my big oven. So far I love it! My advice: Spend the extra money for the Breville and don't look back! And Breville makes a bigger oven if you need more space inside.
What's great about it: Preheat signal, digital controls, easy to read display, build quality
What's not so great: Price
I would recommend this to a friend!
