Had no idea this product was required for installation .Was really glad that the Best Buy installer (excellent installer by the way) had the product made expressly for my vehicle handy for the installation. So far, it all works great together.

Listened to at least seven other sets of speakers at Best Buy. One thing that really stood out was that the sales person tuned the radio driver to the station I listen to most often. That way I got all eight sets of speakers playing the music I prefer. This simple but effective idea helped me pick the sounds that I liked the best. As to my choice, these Polk speakers were the best sounding to my ear and came in at about the mid range in the prices of all the speakers I got to listen to. I'd pick them again in a heartbeat.
