Was hooked the 1st time I saw it!

At first I was not happy that this was the movie brought home to watch for Movie Night way back in 1986(?). I was 15 and this was gonna be a joke! At about 10 minutes into the movie, I was grabbed by the ears by this music from another world, and a Devil named Darkness that was too cool for words! I didn't know who Tim Curry was at the time - but even if I would have, there's no way I could've imagined that it was him! The Darkness creature design is TOP NOTCH! A young TC,a beautiful Mia Sara and a gaggle of dwarves, elves became one of my favorite movies and I'm glad it's on BD now. I hope that it will make it to 4K one day as well!
Also, if you can find the Tangerine Dream OST - get it!

Rio = An all time classic

Rio is by far one of, if not the most, popular Duran Duran albums ever. It is one you are likely to find in the collection of non Duran fans. Having the different versions of Hold Back the Rain and Hungry Like the Wolf is a nice have. The longer versions are much better. HBTR has more 'rock' to it than people give Duran credit for - if you think they don't get after it hard enough for you, then go to a live show - or look up some on YouTube.

Some excellence mixed with some alright

From the push of the play button until the end of the album, you'll find what you love about Duran and a little of what you may not. First, the awesome - Ordinary World, Come Undone, Too Much Information.
Next, the really good - Shelter, Sin of the City
The 'better than the garbage on the radio' - To Whom It May Concern, Drowning Man
The one I just don't like - UMF.
A solid effort and one that still holds up today, 22 years later!

Duran Fun

I've been fan of Duran Duran since the '80s so I blind bought it and was happy I did. IMO it's much better than their last album and if you're a fan, this is an album to have in your collection.

Reward your ears...

Most rewarding receiver for the money. Tons of options to please all senses. Ease of use and comes with a download able app. I have had much pricier receivers but this is bar none the most bang for the buck.
