I really like the way this dishwasher cleans, but I don’t like the way the top rack is designed. It’s difficult to fit items other than glasses/mugs in the top rack because of the way the prongs are laid out. While the seaparte spray cleaner for the silverware works well, there’s not as much room as my previous silverware basket. That being said, it cleans better than any other dishwasher we’ve had and it’s very quiet.

We bought this GE trash compactor to replace a GE compactor to go with all our other GE appliances. The door does not close well. While the compactor is level, the door is not. There’s no way to adjust the door. We unscrewed the brackets and moved it out some so the door doesn’t hit the cabinet. It works better than before, but the price we paid, it should be built better.

The guy that installed our dishwasher was very nice, but it wasn’t leveled. The top of the door scrapped the underside of the cabinet. We had to undo the brackets, level the dishwasher, and put it all back. It was a free install with purchase of dishwasher.
