There are several reasons to like this production series:
It has an extremely high production value.
There is a very good character driven romance drama.
There is an interesting presentation of pre WWI European politics.
There is an exceptional portrayal of the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
I can't say enough good things about this series. Looking forward to the next season.

This film was recommended to me and I was looking forward to it. Two things grew tiresome. One was that the bulk of the footage seemed like watching someone else playing a shooter video game. The other is the extreme level of abuse that individuals seem to be able to accept and still function normally. Writers need to experience some of this abuse before attempting to portray it.
